WE'RE BACK!

Apologies for our absence this past week but it was somewhat enforced - it seems the Monsters out there dont like the truth being told to the world and acted to take us down but FEAR NOT - we may not be indestructable, but it's nothing a bit of sellotape cant fix.

As for the strips, normal service will be resumed some time next week. Ed and I have been working on an Easter strip for the website called 'Season of The Egg' which will be appearing here over the Easter weekend so keep em peeled, it'll be Monster Squad online's first feature length!

And finaly, i'd like to take a moment to blow my own trumpet (metaphorically speaking, of course) and inform you all that my first ever published work - and bizarrly, it's NOT art - came out a week ago. It's a story called 'Romantic Interlude' and it's in a Horror anthology called 'Cold Glass Pain'.

NEW SECTIONS LAUNCHED!
Take a gander at the navigation bar at the top of this page and you'll notice that our web-monsters have finaly gotten their arses into gear and added some content! You will find the first in our profiles series, detailing on this occasion some of the 'good guys' (with one or two more still to follow), with the opposites to follow shortly. The Fan Art section is also up, where you'll find two superb pieces by two superb guest artists, including the man himself, Mr Ed Berridge. Unfortunately a certain virus making its way throughout the country has put a limit on how much productivety has occured lately, but rest assured - even more content will be up in the next week even if it means we have to chain the web-monsters to their laptops.

WHEN ED MET ADLARD
Its the biggest and most entertaining match-up since Dredd met Aliens, Godzilla met Mothra and David Blaine's weary arse met Sofa after standing on that poll for a few days. Head over to 2000AD Review to see what happened when Monster Squad writer and creator Ed Berridge met 2000AD artist Charlie Adlard.

NEW WEBSITE
As you can see, we're in the process of re-designing the site. For now, only the main page and archives will be up but we have a few juicy extra features coming including a history and time line, character profiles, fuller sections on Ed and Paul, the creators, and some Guest spots. We also have a feature-length Easter special in the works, so keep em peeled.

WHERE YOU CAN FIND MONSTER SQUAD
Monster Squad appears in every issue of FutureQuake, making it's debut in the upcoming May release. It will also be featured in charity comic Just 1 Page, which gives all it's proceeds to charity. Both comics an be bought from sellers at the Comics Expo in Bristol.

Monster Squad is always on the lookout for guest artists. This may be for an occasional three-panel gag strip, a longer strip or just a one-off art piece - a 'pin up', if you will, only not the type you get in Playboy. So, you interested in giving it a go? If so, send an E-Mail to this addy with a sample of your work and we'll get back to you. Cheers!
