That's what I've learned, and that's my advice to you. Look for someone who is looking for you. THEY will build your MLM business. Once you're rocking & rolling, THEN go back and pick up family & friends.
Above all, remember this: MLM is NOT a sales business. It is NOT a recruiting business. For long-term success, you should NEVER promote to friends & family.
So what should you do?
Build People. People will build your business.
* The key to network marketing is to build relationships. It is a teaching and mentoring business. It's NOT about getting somebody into your deal, like everybody else tries to do.
* The key is working with them to help build what THEY want, give them the training to become successful. For lifetime network marketing success, focus on relationship-building. Then you develop lifelong customers and business partners. What works are relationships.
* It's learning how to talk to people and developing people skills. Developing listening skills and find out how you can help them... You can tell how someone feels by really listening. Learn to say what should be said without thinking about a script.
