We live in a world of status and choice. We live in a world of consumerism. On average a person in today's world, spends a portion of their time shopping for their daily needs and wants. Therfore, it would seem that there would be a mutual form of trust established between a consumer and a manufacturer of such products. But usually the manufacturer is out of the picture and the products they have produced are sold through individual stores or vendors. The trust therefore is established at the storefront, and it is most likely focused on selection, availability and pricing.
