One of the purposes and principles guiding our group is that of service to others. The MOMS Club of Sharpsburg© commits to complete at least one charitable, humanitarian, or social welfare project related to children each year
and we often do several.
On an on-going basis we collect:
-
TOILETRY TRIAL SIZE ITEMS Given to the Welcome House, a womens and childrens shelter for those escaping domestic violence, poverty or family crisis.
-
CAMPBELLS LABELS AND GENERAL MILLS LABELS FOR EDUCATION Given to a local preschool.
-
SODA CAN TABS Given to the Atlanta Area Ronald McDonald House.
Recent service projects and cash donations have benefited Georgia Fire Fighters Burn Foundation (fire safety and education), ASPIRE (Autism Spectrum Parent Information Resources Education Services), Toys for Tots (toys for the underprivileged) and The MOMS Club Internationals© Mother to Mother Fund (assistance for members in need).
