MOMS Club of Sharpsburg© is a very active chapter. We hold multiple activities for our members each month. In order to do this, we do ask for member participation. Members are not required to participate in any activity or serve on any committee. Each member decides how much or how little participation is best for her and her child(ren).
Our group nominates and votes annually on Board Positions that include:
President – Oversees and is part of all aspects of the chapter
Administrative Vice President – Spearheads service projects
Membership Vice President – Handles new member needs
Secretary – Keeps meeting minutes and membership roster
Treasurer – Handles chapter finances
We also have several coordinator positions. These include but are not limited to:
Playgroup Coordinator – Facilitates playgroups
Field Trip Coordinator – Plans monthly field trips
Meals To Mom Coordinator – Schedules meals for members
Newsletter Editor – Handles monthly newsletter
Speaker Coordinator – Facilitates programs for meetings
Spotlight on Mom Coordinator – Writes newsletter column
SecretMoms Coordinator – Organizes SecretMoms program
Arts and Crafts Coordinator – Plans arts and crafts day
Many of our activities require committees to plan and run events. These include but are not limited to:
Halloween Party, Fall Festival, Holiday Party, Valentine’s Party, Spring Party, Spring Members Luncheon, Father’s Day Picnic.
