Welcome to Moi-Rae Hymns
Specializing in Chocolate and Lilac Himalayans
Moi-Rae Hymns is a very small cattery
that takes pride in the love and attention given to all of our cats.
Our cattery is a cage less cattery and enriched with adults, children
and a dog... a very versatile home to be raising our Himalayans.
We are a registered cattery with both, The Cat Fanciers' Association and
The International Cat Association.
The name "Moi-Rae Hymns" was picked
for our cattery name based on a little bit of Greek Mythology, a twist
of me, and a song and prayer. "Moirae" in Greek Mythology means
"The Fates" or "the apportioners"; the hyphen was added to Moirae
because of the ray of sun I was finally seeing when my dreams of having
a cattery were finally coming into sight; "Hymns" is defined as a song,
or a gospel hymn - I chose to add it to the cattery name because I was
full of joy that my dreams had finally come true. Thus, "Moi-Rae
Hymns" is defined, by me, as "The Fates Sing".
My name is Nicole, I live in the Central
Okanagan Valley of Beautiful British Columbia, Canada. I was born and raised in this valley that I call home,
and now I am raising my family, including my Himalayans, here as well.
I am here to invite you on my adventures, watching my new loves, and old
ones, grow and prosper.
