I wanted to share my experiences in my weight loss journey.  Its not an easy one, but once you really commit to it, it will be an incredibly freeing experience. 

I hope to post my favorite tips and recipes about how I'm working the Weight Watcher's program.  I love new recipes, so you will see a lot of them here.

My first WW leader, Kathy gave us this poem one week, and I still keep it posted by my computer.

Hang on to you Dreams,
Reach for your Star
Know you can make it,
No matter how far.
Commit to be Strong;
Strive 'til you arrive,
Celebrate each success,
With Joy and Pride.
Expect to succeed;
Vow NEVER to quit.
A dream only comes true
if you hang on to it.

You used to be my friend
Even when I was afraid of you
As long as I followed program
You always showed me something new

But now you've turned from friend to foe
I can't predict where you'll go
As I try to make you go down and down
You make me look just like a clown

I step on you once a day
But rarely like what you say
When I am good you are bad
Which makes me very very sad

So why today, when yesterday
Those brownies got in my way
Did you now tell me its OK
To eat them in a no small way

I don't understand, that is true
But I will not get rid of you
If nothing else, you make me think
of what I will eat and drink

So Mr Scale, I swear to you
I will control what I do
Someday I'll see you and not frown
Because the number will go down!
