Morrowind Ad Infinitum
|

Have you ever felt disappointed with the bard class in Morrowind? Don't you wish you could play as a real musician, instead of just the quasi-thief that is the Morrowind bard? If so, this is the mod for you.
Features:
Currently there are nine songs that you can learn and play in game. These songs range in length from about 0:30 - 1:15 minutes and are all composed, performed and recorded by me. You can listen to some samples (of high reduced quality, to conserve bandwidth) by clicking on the following links: The Ballad of Tristan Dunharrow Lure of the Beasts.
All of the songs that you can play also produce magical effects. Some of these effects include: Fortifying your own speed and agility, charming all NPCs within hearing radius, calming savage (e.g. attacking) beasts, just to name a few.
You can also gain fame and money by increasing your skills as a Bard (yes, there is a lute 'skill' that you can increase by practicing). You can enter into any tavern and, with the permission of the publican, you can set out your collection plate so that NPCs can donate money to you as you play. The amount of money that you receive varies with respect to your musical skill, the difficulty of your repertoire, the relative wealth of the tavern patrons, and, of course, random chance.
Quests: There are nine songs that you can learn, and each involves a quest to find the bard on Vvardenfell who can teach it to you. Some of these quests are simple, others are more complex. There are also several side quests that relate to your skills as a bard.
Screenshots:

If you become skilled enough, you will be richly rewarded by appreciative tavern patrons.

Choose from nine different, stylistically appropriate songs to play.

Bard music can also function as an in-game jukebox. You can play songs singly, repeated ("Play Continuously"), or in random order ("Play Whimsically")
