Welcome to  MARS !!

(Mobile Animal Rescue Service)

We rescue adoptable pets from shelters that are special cases, or are about to be euthanized to make room for new animals. We take these animals to one of our participating vets for a thourough check up,current vaccinations, heartworm check and preventative, additional health care when needed, and microchip. Because we believe in stopping overpopulation, we make sure all of our pets are spaed or neutered. We are looking for permanent homes for these formerly lost, abandonded, and abused pets.

There Are Many Ways You Can Help !

Until we find loving forrever families for these pets, we need volunteers to open their hearts and homes, and become temporary foster families.  Providing a temporary foster home for a pet until it's new family is found, can make all of the difference between euthanization, and the loving home every loyal pet deserves.

Come Meet Some of Our Spectacular Animals !

Meet Cheyenne:

Cheyenne came to us from a local shelter. He was considered unadoptable because he was believed to be an illegal Wolf Hybrid. After closer examination, we found Cheyenne to be part Alaskan Malamute, and part Shepherd. As you can see, he is Mostly Alaskan Malamute which accounts for his Wolflike apparance. He is a 1 1/2 year old, 55 pound, neutered male.  He loves to play, and gets along well with other dogs. Cheyenne has current vaccines, and is heartworm negative. He is full of energy, and is very affectionate, and gentle. Take Cheyenne home, and you will have a friend for life !

Meet Cinnamon:

Cinnamon came to us from a local shelter. She was taken from an owner who kept her chained for the first year and a half of her life. It was feared that because of the way she had been treated her whole life, she would not be adoptable. Cinnamon and MARS proved that untrue. After spending some time in loving foster care, Cinnamon has become sweet, affectionate, and gentle.

As you can see, Cinnamon is an absoultely beautiful RED NOSE PIT Bull. She is a loyal loving and playful young lady. She is spayed, heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, and taking heartworm preventitive. She is cinnamon in color with white on her chest, and two white toes. 55 pounds of solid muscle, Cinnamon is affectionate, and energetic, but not hyper. She loves to play hard. Cinnamon needs to be an only dog. She is aggressive with selective dogs, mostly females, LOVES people. She will train easily because she loves to please.  Cinnamon's foster family is full. She desperately wants to meet that special someone who will take her home, and love her forever. She'll easily return the favor.

Meet Sanders:

SANDERS HAS COMPLETED A 10 DAY PROFESSIONAL OBEDIENCE TRAINING CLASS, AND COMES WITH FREE LIFETIME FOLLOW UP SESSIONS !!

Sanders' mother died when he was only 4 weeks old. He was one of two pups out of a litter of eight, who survived living in abusive and starving conditions. He is very sweet, and loves to play. Thanks to his loving foster parents, he successfully completed 10 days of obedience training at Dallasdogtrainer.com. He is fully obedience trained, and COMES WITH LIFETIME FOLLOW UP TRAINING SESSIONS. Ask for more details, or visit Dallasdogtrainer.com. He is neutered, current on all vaccinations, and heartworm negative. Sanders needs lots of space because he is full of energy, and very playful.

Meet Sadie:

Sadie's owner simply had too many dogs. She is a 2 year old Corgi mix (maybe mixed with Dingo), rescued from a local shelter. She's highly intelligent, very sweet, and gentle. She is very well behaved on her leash. She loves to be near you, and is quite affectionate. She has very soft fur. She's houseborken, nonagressive, and loves to ride in the car. She rarely barks, and prefers eye contact when out and about. She is also very devoted and loyal to her master. She prefers to be inside, near you, and loves to be talked to.

History

After adopting a rescue dog of his own, MARS' founder developed a passion for saving innocent loving animals. His close personal friend adopted a rescue dog, fell in love, and developed the same passion. While volunteering with another local rescue service, each one took in a foster. These foster dogs soon became a permanent part of the family, and inspired these two friends to form MARS. Now they own two rescue dogs each, and foster many more. But we need you to help keep it going. With your help many more dogs can be saved. Please join us and foster a rescue pet today.
