I want to thank everyone who has visited this web-site. I did not know how many people visited this site until I installed a counter "amazing". I'm still learning this stuff and will improve as time goes on. I would like to expand this site or get a better site so that I could include pictures of the ballparks, team pictures, the season schedules and scores etc....
The season is over and I would like to congradulate Fergus Falls (Division I Champion) and Pelican Rapids (Division II Champion) on their American Legion State Tournament appearances.
Fergus falls had a 2 and 4 record in New Ulm, defeating St. Paul Park 5 to 1 in the first round. In the second round Fergus Falls lost to Wayzata (who finished in third place in the tourny) 8 to 1, came back and defeated Buffalo 13 to 8, and was eliminated from the tournament by Hamlin in a rain suspended game 15 to 11.
Pelican Rapids defeated Esko 7 to 0 in the first round of the Div. II tournament held in LeSure. Was defeated by Eden Valley-Watkiins 6 to 2 in the second round and by Jordan 6 to 2 in the 3rd place game.
