One day while meditating on her island, chaos begins to
erupt in the distance. Flying saucers come out of nowhere and wreck havoc on
the world. Fortunately by this point, the inhabitants of the planet Hillys are
used to such attacks, and many have constructed force fields around their homes
for such an occasion. Jade tries to get the force field up, but due to not
having paid the electric bill, pods land on the planet and capture some of the
orphans she and her uncle, Pey'j (who just happens to be an enormous talking
pig), were taking care of. Jade frees the orphans, but ends up being drug
underground and having to fend off a type of alien plant for herself, before
the government finally comes and "rescues" her. Annoyed that they did
not come sooner, Jade tries to resume normal life.
However, Jade is contacted by a group called IRIS, an organization that calls
for a government conspiracy, that the attacks are planned in advance, and that
more people are captured than rescued. Jade happens to be an excellent
photographer, so IRIS sends her out to collect evidence proving the guilt of
the government. Under the code name "Shauni", Jade travels all over
Hillys in an attempt to find out the truth. What follows is an excellent
action/adventure game that few have heard of; the story is well-written and
told through beautiful cutscenes and dialogue, with some heart-pumping chase
sequences and events that will leave you in tears. Unfortunately, the game ends
on a semi-cliffhanger, so thanks to all of you ungrateful bastards who didn't
buy it, we'll never know what happens next.
"Yeah, yeah, well you guys are NOT what I'd call as fast as a speedin'
bullet! Keep doin nothin', and next time there'll be nothin' left here to
save!" - Pey'j
