AiAi (Super Monkey Ball series)

Forget the King of All Cosmos; Aiai was doing the
ball-rolling gameplay back when arcades were still popular. Trapped inside a
monkey ball (the virtual equivalent of a hamster ball), Aiai had to navigate
tricky pathways crawling with traps, or else he would fall to his doom. And as
you would expect from a game about monkeys, Aiai loves bananas.
After his first brush with death, Aiai soon had to defend his home from a
ruthless villain by the name of Dr. Bad-Boon, a mad scientist out to steal the
world's supply of bananas. Aiai and friends chased this ape all over the world
and eluded his traps, thus saving the bananas for all the monkeys to enjoy.
Super Monkey Ball has a relatively cult following, probably for the reason that
most would take a look and brush it off as a kiddy game. But those who decide
to play the game for themselves will see that some of the puzzles are outright
clever, and it has several excellent multiplayer games to boot.

Win-Loss Record
0-1
Summer 2003 Contest North Division - 16 Seed
Northern Round 1 --- Lost to (1) Link, 8802 [8.65%] - 92998 [91.35%] Extrapolated Strength --- 63rd Place [8.65%]
AiAi was somehow able to make the field in Summer 2003, and he was rewarded for it by being stuck against Link in his first match. That was sure to turn out well, especially given that most of his series' popularity comes from the Gamecube titles.
Link proceeded to set a scoring record against the little guy, and we haven't heard from him since. The argument can be made that AiAi was SFFd, but it barely matters. Seeing him in another match would be a miracle.
