I have been proofreading deposition transcripts for over five years. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a natural ability to find errors in the written word.
I have an eight-year background in property and casualty insurance which comes in handy when reading those PI depos. I also have extensive knowledge of medical and legal terminology.
I am very Internet savvy, and have many resources available to me to find that strange word or phrase!
My normal turnaround time is typically three days, not including Sundays. I charge 40 cents per page with no minimum. For expert/technical/medical testimony or wall-to-wall colloquy I charge 50 cents per page.
I am happy to handle your expedites. My expedite rates begin at 60 cents per page. These will be ready in 48 hours or less. I will also do same day jobs depending on my workload. Please contact me for same day rates.
I am currently taking a comprehensive scoping course. I anticipate completing the course and purchasing my CAT software by June 2008.
My billing practice is simple! I invoice via e-mail on the 15th and the 30th of the month. I accept PayPal for your convenience, or personal check as well.
