MJ OLD OAK FARMS is a small farm with big ideas. Our goal is to breed high quality, fast growing economical goats with good disposition and survivability traits. We have a motto at our farm that everyone goes by, it is, "The dictionary is the only place where success comes before work." We work hard and have fun with our operation. We focus primarily on goats that are hardy and healthy with as little overhead as possible. What I mean is we want a strong sound animal that knows how to hustle. With our new worming program and practice we have reduced our parasite problem to an all time low for our area. The program is still under field testing but will be revealed as soon as calculations and statistics can be validated.
We like to consider ourselves as goat promoters rather than just breeders. We are in this to promote the animals, increase the knowledge about the animals, and improve the animals if we can. We work hard at devising new ways to make the job easier and more economical for other breeders. With our new worming program underway.
