How long have you been in the vending locating business? I have been locating machines for over 10 years now and am very successful at it. I am a stay at home mom and this is my only job.
How much do you charge to locate machines? I charge $50 per machine for bulk vending machines.
Do you locate larger machines - soda machines, cranes, etc? At this time, I only locate bulk vending machines.
Is there a minimum number of machines to locate? For the first order, I recommend locating 5 machines.
How do you locate machines? All of my locations are done through telemarketing. You supply a list of zipcodes and I work off of a business listing for those zip codes.
What type of locations do you target? Auto repair shops, restaurants, bowling alleys, apartment club houses, and others.
How long does it take you to locate machines? I am proud to say that I am a maniac on the phone. Locating machines is very hard work, but I am good at it. I have called as many as 100 locations to get a single yes. But I am good at what I do and can be spend as little as 20 seconds on the phone per location. For small orders of 5-10 machines, I can fill the location order in anywhere from a few hours to a few days.
Do you recommend any charities? YES. I will work with any vending charity program but I really like the National Childrens Cancer Society. It touches peoples hearts more than any other and I have had more than a few occurances of talking to a location and them telling me they will "kick out the other machine" and replace it with your National Children's Cancer Society machine.
Do you charge the 50% deposit to locate machines? NO. I do not work this way. You only pay me when I have filled your order.
How do I pay for locations? When I have filled your order, I will send you a package in the mail, COD (Cash on Delivery). The package contains all the information you need for your locations - address, phone number, contact name. You simply pay the postal carrier with a bank check, and they in turn send it to me.
Do you offer any gurantees? I do not offer revenue gurantees. Revenue "Gurantees" are meant for the sellers of machines. I have heard them tell customers that their machines will average $100 or $200 per month. You may get a few prime locations like this, but these statistics are not true. If you want to know the true statistics, ask other bulk vending operators, not the machine distributors. I have heard from other bulk vending operators that some of their machines are in the $15 per month range, some are in the $20-$25 range and they have a few "jewels" in their collection pulling in $40-$50 or higher per month. But my gurantee to you is simply that the location will go in. If it doesn't go in, or the location changes their mind, I will find you another location free of charge.
