Welcome to the Takasaki Light Railway, a garden Railway in Japan. It is built to a scale of 1:19 on 32mm gauge track. Most everything is built from scratch as cash is always somewhat scarce. Have a look around the site and come back soon!

July: Temperatures are now in the 30s and the humidity factor is just charming (teeth clenched). Expect lots of updates and an overhaul of the website during July and August . Though, I want to be in the garden as much as the weather permits. Rain is rare in Japan in the summer months , but the 35+ degree in-the-shade temps make it 'Mad dogs & Englishmen...' weather.
