Michelle J. Dyett-Welcome lives in Far Rockaway New York with her husband and two children. She holds Masters in Education and a BA in Finance. As a home schooling mom, Michelle enjoys writing stories for her children to read and to act out. She is the proud owner of two fish which are low maintenance.
A prolific writer, Michelle started writing at age 12 as a way to release emotional tension. Recently she has expanded from poetry, into songs, stories, plays and articles. Living only a few blocks from the beach, she finds it soothing and inspiring to sit on the boardwalk and write.
Michelle spends her down time making soaps, candles, jewelry, bath salts and cards. Her favorite music artists vary from Sting to Bob Marley to James Cleveland among others. She continues to find enjoyment in many activities, but her passion is writing and, as she says, "will undoubtedly always be so."
