                            For those who said there was never enough mizzas pizza for norfolk, canaan, and colebrook residents, The newly opened restaurant, will offer five times the service, three times the seating,and twice the Mizza Pizza experience. Precisely one month ago, the former Mizza Pizza operation located at 20 John J. Curtis Rd. It was a long overdue, and was litterally two years in the making."Location,location,location,"Mizza said."I had my eye on this location four years ago when i opened at the former locatioon."

Four the past year, a sign hung outside the building along Rt.44 that promised Mizzas Pizza woould arrive soon. But the remodeling work , which included building a new kitchen , dining room,walls,bathrooms,ceilings and even hardwood floors,took a year to complete.

"When I bought this location, it was time to get started on building what I dreamed about for the past few years,"Mizza said.

Proud of his 20-year career as a restaurantuer, Mizza has operated restaurants in Southington, Waterbury, and Wolcott, before he arrived in Norfolk six years ago. To open Mizzas Pizza.

"I really like this area,"Mizza said."The people are so nice and freindly, I feel like I am home in Albania."

The new location osffered Mizza an oppurtunity to expand his dreams. With the new restaurant, Mizzas has three times the seating capacity for 70 guests. On the Menu, five new veal entrees selection are now available, five new seafood entrees, an expanded pasta selection, and chicken entrees. Even hamburgers were added to New York Style Pizza Menu.

All the thin crust pizza selections are still the same, including 26 gourmet pizza optioons. Local favorites are the Luigis Favorite and the Joe's favorite. According to mizza, both are named after his good friends who invented the pizza using the mizza pizza "create your own" pizza concept.

We were once a pizza, grinder, sald place. Now Mizzas Pizza stands for a family run, ,family style restaurant experience.
