Big Update

Posted by Michael Cornetto on September 21, 2010 at 2:53 AM Comments comments (0)

The website has been updated to include a bit more of my recent work.  There's a whole series of script avatars that I've been creating for a while to pimp my scripts.  They are quite a collection to see in one place.  There's even a few I did for other peoples scripts.

Also my screenplay and poetry widgets have been fixed.   They haven't been working apparently and I haven't looked in a while so I don't know how long they've been out of order.  Well, they're working now.

Lastly, I put up a bunch more of my videos.  All of the Computer Girl episodes and promos.  The promos are fun, I highly recommend them.  Some other miscellany has been added including the Cubism episode of the Avant Video Garde show which recently won the Poetronica award here in Melbourne.

There's more to come.  Enjoy!

A Video and some Poetry

Posted by Michael Cornetto on January 25, 2009 at 12:04 AM Comments comments (0)

I added a Video called Aileen that I made with some friends for about $50Aus.  It looks it but it's also a lot of fun.

I also added a poetry feed from my poetry blog.  Most of them will be a bit old, but I'm sure I'll get in the poetry mood again.

Enjoy!

My Artwork is here

I've always wanted to paint but due to  discouraging teachers during my school years I've never felt I had the ability to do so.  In 1992 my partner and I took a trip around the world.  After the trip, inpsired by the artwork I had seen, I began to paint.   I still might not have the ability, but somehow after seeing the worlds art, I somehow don't mind.

I have added a buch of albums to this site that contain samples of some of the artwork I have done in the past.  I don't paint and draw all the time but when the muse strike I usually knock out a dozen or so pieces.  I'll try to keep better track of them, now that I have a place to put them.  Enjoy!

First and 25ths

Well, this is the first entry in this blog.  How do you like it so far?

I'm sitting here on Christmas Eve, typing into my laptop, smelling a delicious dinner Thai Basil Chicken cooking.  Is it ever making me hungry.

Tonight is my 25th aniversary.  My partner and I have been together since 1984 - we started out on the east coast of the US and made our way across that country, settled in California for a lot of years and now, still sticking with our eastward direction, we live in Melbourne, Australia.

My partner is my best and closest friend and I still miss him when he's away, even though we've been together all those years.  He feels the same way too.  People ask us all the time, "How do you stay together so long?"  Well, the answer is it just happens.  There's no right and wrong way, you just end up sticking together.

Anyway, the first page of this blog was supposed to be about my site, which I just put up.   My partner was just in my line of site and I went off on a love tangent.  But back to the site which currently contains all of my screenplays (Well, not all of them but the ones I want you to see).  You can find them here

Eventually this site will contain all my creative stuff: some paintings, some Vogon poetry, and always my screenplays.  I hope you enjoy them.  I will eventually have a forum up so you can discuss them.  Tell me how much you enjoy them or how shit they are, whatever you want.

I have another side, a more technical side, that you won't see here.  You'll have to wait until I have a techincal site up to see that side.   Here's to hoping you keep visiting and a Merry Christmas to you all.
