What we represents

CSI is a charity Organization dedicated to supporting people in the Third world countries, currently operating in West and South Africa. MivaCSI is dedicated to helping especially street jobless youths and Women to benefit from (ICT) information Communication technology and the knowledge to use it effectively. We support sustainable education programs through the provision of computer equipment, and computer teaching materials.

How we run things

CSI endeavours to empower the jobless and women in the rural areas of Africa through setting up computer centers where youths can learn to use computers and thus acquire skills that will benefit them later in life. We teach the basic skills of front and back office and computer hardware maintenance technology that together will give these young people opportunities in life which might otherwise be denied them due to a lack of facilities. We take second-user computer equipment to a number of African countries. There, we install the equipment in schools, maintain it and provide IT teaching programs.

Where we do it

Our goal and target is working with African schools and technical institutions, we are currently collecting Computer equipments to support programs in Ghana, and in the near future, we hope to extend our supports and services to other parts of Africa where the I.T demand is high. In addition we also hope to work with schools in the European Community, linking them with African counterparts in projects that give the schools an opportunity to communicate using email and other electronic devices. Our intentions are to send more than 1000 computers to Africa; and helping with the education of African children and young people as well as employing young adults to teach IT and to provide in-country support for ICT programs.
