How Do I Get There?

Ocala is easy to get to from I-75, the main north-south road in central Florida. Quality Inn Ocala is at exit 352 for route 40, on the northeast corner of the intersection.

Where Can I Stay?

We have a block of 15 rooms reserved at the Quality Inn at a reduced rate of $67.27 ($62.00 + tax).  The rooms must be reserved by Mar 10, '08 to receive this rate.  To reserve a room, call the Quality Inn Ocala [352-629-0381] and say it is for the “MITS group listing.”  Pets are allowed at this hotel, but you need to tell them up front that you will have a pet, and there is an extra fee.  There are also microwaves and refrigerators available, but you need to ask for them, and there is also an extra fee.

Other Hotels:

There are several hotels at the same exit as the Quality Inn, as well as the exit north of and south of the exit for the Quality Inn.  At the same exit as the Quality Inn are: Days Inn and Economy Inn (SE corner of intersection), Red Roof (NW corner), and Travelodge and Super 8 (SW corner).

Where Can I Eat?

Restaurants:

The Quality Inn has a restaurant, which is open for dinner 5-9 PM: appetizers range from $5.95 - $9.95, salads and sandwiches range from $5.95 - $12.95, entrees (steak, shrimp, chicken) range from $12.95 - $16.95. 

At the same exit as the Quality Inn: Dunkin Donuts (SE corner of intersection), Wendy's, McDonalds, Taco Bell/Pizza Hut, Whattaburger (N side of Rte 40, E side of I-75), Denny's and Waffle House (NE corner of intersection), and a Chinese buffet restaurant (SW corner). 

One exit north of the Quality Inn is “Pinstripes” – the restaurant at the Ramada Inn.  There is an Outback Steakhouse one exit south of the Quality Inn and east on route 200 (near the Paddock mall).  There is also a Chili’s, Olive Garden, Hooters, Red Lobster, and Bella Luna Café on route 200 east of I-75.
