A short drive towards the coast will bring you to the coastal towns and villages of Deal, Walmer, Kingsdown and St Margarets Bay. Each are worth visiting. In particular Deal has plenty of History with some worthwhile attractions:
St Margarets Bay is a short drive along the coast from Deal and has a fantastic pebble beach aswell as some great restaurants. Be sure to visit the White Cliffs Hotel and Tavern for great home cooked food at reasonable prices in a modern and friendly atmosphere:
