The People I Know and Love...

"R-E-S-T-E-C-P" To all my friends... you know who you are, but I'm still adding this list, so nyeh!

Well, there are just sooo many people to name… so please, if anyone doesn’t see their name in here, don’t get upset, don't get mad, and don't get downright bloodthirsty. Just send me an email and I’ll put you in asap. I have a shocking memory, as many people know, so it’s not unlikely for me to forget some people on the list, it’s just my nature!

Ok, for the time being, I can't be bothered editing the rest, so before anything, I'd like to mention my newly found friends at Marden College... these are the first people I've met so far, and already they've shown their worth as true friends... to which I am incredibly grateful.

These are so far... (collectively known as, "The Ratpack": Hugh, Fiona, James, Matt, Sarah, and Sylvia.=) You people all rock! ^^

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On an individual basis...

First there's Tina. A girl I hold very close to my heart... someone I can rely and depend upon... and in turn she trusts me also. Sweet girls like her come few and far between... and I'm glad to have her as such an important part of my life. She's also my personal project at the moment... *laughs* I want to make her a strong person, and make her stand up for herself. In a nutshell, I can only say, she's more special then she realises... and rest assured, she's very much loved for the girl she actually is.

Then Katie... if there's much more lovelier people than her? Then I don't want to know them. Katie is trying to move down from Elgin, Illinois to study journalism in Australia... and I for one, want to give her my full support. Caring for her greatly, I want to ensure she fulfills the dream she longs for...to see Australia. A proud Aussie, I think everyone should be given that opportunity. I don't think a single person out there could not love this girl for the person she is... plus, she's honestly one of the best writers I've ever seen!

Then, there's Anna. Always remaining a good friend, and always remaining a good person to talk to. Good luck with Michael, and all the best! Earlier this year I finally got the chance to catch up with her again, after what... two to three years Anna? Ah well. All the same, a day not to forget. =)

Next, we have my life-long friend, whom I'd describe as nothing short of practically being my sister! That is, Michelle. A great person to have a joke with and talk to all these years, whom which I now work with at the Arkaba... yet another of the many experiences we've had. A good friend through and through, who seems practically engaged to her boyfriend (yet another colleague we work with), Tim. All the best with that!

Here, I could place him into two categories: Rostrevor and Odoru. So rather, I put him into the individual group. Hugh's been a good mate for the last 4 to 5 years now (I think? Can't remember when I first became mates with him!), and has always been so easy to get along with. Considerably taller than me, he's always been better at basketball (bastard! =p) but all the same, he's a great friend to have.

Then, there’s my ex-girlfriend, Anita. It’s always good to catch up with you (on the rare occasions we’ve seen each other around!). Always energetic, almost always happy, always clumsy (who throws a handbag on the roof, honestly?), but most importantly, always a good friend.

Then, we have "da bootiful miss kwisten" as she'd like to be called.... =p Well, I don't actually know her that well, but she's a lovely person, and incredibly friendly. =) *waves* Hi Kristen! On the same note, I'd like to say hi to Melissa too. Not particularly close, but she's a friend of mine AND Aj's, from Gleeson College. *waves again* Oh yeah, big hi to Nat too... I know u wanted a mention...  hope all's well! =)

Finally, we have Sophie. Sophie’s basically been a great friend, regardless of the fact we’ve never actually met. =p She’s my email-penpal friend (you know, keeping in regular contact by email?) who I’ve been talking to about life for about 5 years now. Living in Devon, UK, it’s a little difficult to just rock up and say hello… although Hugh coulda gone to see her when he was up there! *slaps Hugh * What’s wrong with you? You shoulda caught up!

Next we have the friends of St. Ignatius... there are so many of you it's difficult to say everyone... There are so many great people that I know are gonna be left out... but all the same, I'll go through the smallest list I can post.

Firstly, I'll go through the group I hang around with...

Brinthy (Scheming little bastard! =p)

Pat

Marney

Sam (Forever controversial)

Alannah

Luke

Alex

Josh ("THERE'S NOTHING THERE!")

Then, I always manage to catch up with Mel (huish), Tim Bond (I've included you now! k?) and Sam Phoenix throughout the day... Plus, a former member of the group is Peter, so I'll shout out to him too. The man has an interest in deejaying... therefore, the man has taste! =p

Next, the people I hold in most respect within the college, are the people from my Kairos group, From Kairos X. I'd have to say I didn't know these people particularly well when I first arrived, but when I got to know them, I developed a sense of trust in them that most will never gain. Thanks all for listening to me, and thankyou for giving me the opportunity to listen to you all as well. Those three days will not be forgotten easily... and the friendship you offered will me will never be forgotten.

My Kairos group were:

AJ (our team leader)

Sarah (Campus Ministry)

Steve (Shtev!)

Ryan

Caroline

Melissa

Thankyou all once again.

Then there are the rest of Year 12 at St. Ignatius… you all know who you are, and as far as I’m concerned, almost all of you are absolute champs. Always good to have a laugh with, and always so accepting. You people have made me appreciate my time at St. Ignatius. I enjoy seeing you people every weekday, and I hope the majority of you enjoy my company. On this note, I’d like to mention two people in particular that, along with my Kairos group, have my complete and utter respect. You two wouldn’t even know the respect I have for you, unless of course you read this website. These people are: Josh Hallett and Janelle Grigg. I cannot think of anyone that could possibly dislike these people, as they are quite possibly the nicest people you can ever meet. Friends to everybody, enemies of nobody, and always willing to say hello (or give us a lift- Thanks Josh!) I wish I could have the same sort of qualities as these two have. I respect you both for who you are, and I only hope you never lose your qualities of compassion and friendship, as these are easily the best qualities you will ever have.

Oh, and by the way, a special mention to Andrew Culshaw, I promised I'd give him a metion. =) A top guy through and through, although I didn't get to know him as well as I could've during my time at St. Ignatius, unfortunately. =(

Next, we have the friends I met within Rostrevor. I was fortunate enough to have the friendships I had tested in the final year I was at Rostrevor, and this was the ultimate proof of whom my true friends were. However, friends alone could not keep me at Rostrevor, as it simply didn’t suit me. To be quite honest, for the three years I was there, I hated every single day. The atmosphere just didn’t suit me, to which I defined as “dark” to numerous people within my first year. This atmosphere, in my opinion, never changed, although some may argue that there was no such atmosphere. Plus, the organization was (as you can all agree) terrible, as we all know it cared only for one thing: money. Rostrevor isn’t a the youth, everyone who is, or has been there knows this. Rostrevor is a place of business, and is thus run like one. Nothing more, nothing less. None the less, I have friends I want to mention, purely for being who they are. These friends are:

Vial

Ferguson

Sabato (although you’ve recently left/come to your senses. =p)

Swaine

Shipway

Bruno

Erbsy

Rhys

Bagas

Crocker (Jesus…I nearly forgot to add you Crocker! How could anyone forget Crocker?!)

Harford

Martin

Blakey

And anyone else I forgot!

Then there are the people of Odoru. Ladies and gentlemen, quite simply, the Odoru group is a predominantly South Australian community of people aged from approximately 15-25 (possibly even younger/older) which are (in my opinion) the most accepting group of people you could ever meet! The Odoru group formed approximately 2 years ago, and has now formed into a tight-knit group of friends that have come from all over the state, and even from interstate. While Odoru was, (and still is) supposed to be based on DDR (or Dance Dance Revolution), my reason for becoming involved with Odoru was because of the acceptance Odoru has for anyone and everyone, and the friends I have gained from Odoru are simply amazing. The advantage of this group is that the group is formed from neither schools, race or place of origin. Rather, the group is formed on the basis of sharing a common interest, although this is not necessary to become a part of the community. I have no doubt in my mind that I am a happier person since I have become a self-declared member of Odoru, and recommend it to anyone that wants to meet new people from all over South Australia, wants to share their interests of DDR, music, or gaming, or purely wants to have a lot of fun in the various social outings that are organized between Odoru’s members. Please note that there is no specific way to become a member of Odoru (e.g: membership form, etc.) just go to Odoru’s forum or Mirc channel (#Odoru) and say hi! You’ll soon find yourself meeting people offline, and I assure you that you will form strong friendships in the process. The website is: http://www.odoruonline.com

/end rant

My friends (I talk to regularly anyway- there are far too many people to mention everyone!) at Odoru (in no particular order) include:

Tegan (Mez)

AJ (not the same AJ of Kairos, let me say)

Bob

Ben K (Kimone- basically the founder of Odoru)

Gabbie

Jarred

Growly

Squiddy

Michael

Natalie

Johnny

Mop

Candie

Andrew

Raf

Daniel

Ryan

Ben W

Timeless (Tom)

Midori (yes, that’s her REAL name! =p)

Andy

Trish

Carla

The entire Tunza crew!

I know I’ve forgotten people… I just know it, but my brain just isn’t punching out the names! Sorry to anyone I forgot! Just let me know if you’re not on the list whenever you can and I’ll put you here.

Finally, we have the legendary people of "The Tides"- one of the three bands I have lined up for "Rau-down '04" =p Thanks in advance for the great gig guys! These people are:

Covo: Lead vocals

Hartley: Bass

Harris- Lead guitar

Opie- Rhythm guitar

Stuart- Drums
