What can I win?

- A Basket full of gifts (gift certificates, personal products, jewlery, school supplies etc),
- The $250 application fee and $50 Sponsor Fee to apply to Miss Achievement Newfoundland & Labrador.
- An offical Photo Shoot with Sponsor Rodney Carpenter
- A Formal Wear Sponsor for all your Formal Appearances throughout your reign. And...
- You will be invited to make appearances at numerous charitable & speaking events in the Central Avalon Region.
Is Miss Central Avalon Achievement a "beauty pageant"?
No! At Miss Central Avalon, we want to provide young women in the area with a positive enriching experience. It is our goal to build self-confidence and reward you for your scholastic and community achievements.
If I win the title of Miss Central Avalon Achievement, will it interfere with school?
No! We make school the number one priority! As Miss Central Avalon you can have a busy year. It is totally up to you! We will work with you to make it a memorable year and schedule as many appearances as possible based on your personal availability.
Why do I need a Sponsor?
Because the pagenat host is a non-profit organization we depend on the assistance of community businesses for donations. It is our hope that in return, contestants will recieve larger scholarship at this regional level!

What is a platform?
The platform concept requires each contestant to choose an issue to speak on which is important to her. The winner of the Miss Central Avalon Achievement title, will where possible, speak on issues relating to her platform, to generate awareness, when addressing youth organizations, community service groups, festivals and charitable fundraisers, and other events.
