Miss Central Avalon Achievement

Are you an intelligent, outgoing,  community minded young lady who would like to have a voice for issues & concerns facing NL? Would you like to be a representative of; young women, your home, the Central Avalon Region, and possibly your province of Newfoundland & Labrador?
Then this is the competition for you!

 Annually Contestants from the Central Avalon Catchment area between the ages of 13 & 17 compete for the Regional level title of Miss Central Avalon Achievement.

The goal of this pageant is to be an avenue for young women to be awarded for their academic achievements, healthy living, talents, and community involvement.

The Winner of Miss Central Avalon Achievement, will speak on issues relating to her platform, where possible to generate awareness, when addressing youth organizations, community service groups, festivals and charitable fundraisers, and other events.

The winner of Miss Central Avalon is sponsored by Markland Community Center Recreation Committee, to go on to compete at the provincial level at Miss Teen Achievement Newfoundland & Labrador, where she has many great opportunities including the chance to win  Various scholarships, which are worth over $20,000.
