"Keyin College"-
Academic Excellence Award
Awarded to the contestant who receives the highest grade on the Competition's Academic Exam
-The winner Receives a Full Scholarship for any course of study from Keyin College- Carbonear Campus an award valued at up to $14,250

Regions Choice Award
- Awarded to the contestant who the regions public feel would be a great representative for Central Avalon. Someone who excells academically, is involved in her community, shows leadership, has  true talent, promotes & leads a healthy lifestyle and shows a competitive spirit!

Our Other Awards for 2008:

"Keeping the Pace"-
Healthy Living Award
Awarded to the Contestant who achieves the highest combined score from the Physical Fitness Test as well as the Written Healthy Living Exam. This award is compliments of Keeping the Pace Womens Fitness Center

"The Bridal Suite"-
Competitive Spirit Award
Awarded to the Contestant who is judged by her peers as being the person who they think would be the best representative of the Central Avalon Youth. A person who they believe would best be suited for the Title. The winner will recieve the Award & a Jewlery Set compliments of the Bridal Suite. 

"The Town of Whitbourne"-
Asset to the Community Award
Awarded to the Contestant who has shown that she is committed to her community through active volunteerism & genuine involvement in her communities activities. Awarded based on information received in the application process as well as references indicated. $100 Compliments of the Town of Whitbourne

Talented Teen Award
Awarded to the contestant who is best able to portray her talent to a panel of Judges on Talent night. The contestant with the highest score will win the Award.
