Happy May!!!
Wow! Where has this school year gone? We only have a few weeks left and sooo much to do! I have a few reminders for you the first and most important one is to remember to bring in recipies by May 2. These are for a very important project. We will be joining the 5/6 grade for a half day while Miss Woelfel is gone chaperoning the 8th grade class trip. On this day, we will be eating lunch later so it is important to bring a snack that day (May 7).
Thank you to all parents who came to our culture fair. The students had a great time learning about eachother's families. They especially liked the snacks. We learned that our families came from all over Europe and Mexico and that is where some of our holiday traditions come from. We also learned about trying foods from other countries can be scary but was usually a yummy reward.
We will be going to the Fort Museum here in Fort Dodge on Monday, May 19. I am looking for chaperones and drivers. All who want to come are welcome.
Things to look forward to--Boone Track Day (May 10), Field Trip to the Fort Museum (May 19), Last day of school and closing chapel (May 23)
A little extra credit for those who check the site. When is Mother's Day? Tell me the answer before school.
