As the reigning Miss Covered Bridge, Colene will represent her home county, Blount County, at the Miss Alabama Pageant in June.
Colene is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of North Alabama with a Bachelor's of Business Administration Degree with a Double Major in Finance and Econmics. At her 2007 graduation, Colene recieved the Keller Key, the highest academic award given by UNA. A member of numerous honor societies, she is currently attending UNA to obtain her Master's of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Finance.
Colene greatly enjoys traveling with the UNA Jazz Band as their vocalist. Colene also served as the 2006 and 2007 Head Majorette for the UNA Pride of Dixie Marching Band.
As Blount County's 2003 Junior Miss, Colene was named as a Top 8 Finalist at Alabama's Junior Miss and received the Overall Academic Award.
