Spirit guides are trusted friends from heaven who help you in this hellish journey on earth. I usually see about 2 guides around someone, sometimes 4. There is always a primary guide present who stands next to you always! They cannot read your thoughts so it's important to give them permission to read your thoughts permanently. Don't worry, they won't sit down with a bowl of popcorn and watch your naughty thoughts!
Although at very private moments I have heard mine say, "What are you doing?"
I know my primary guide is male, I call him "M" but I feel like his name is Matthew. My secondary guide is a woman named Sara. I have heard her voice many times early in the morning. I have another guide, I have only seen him in meditation and he looks like a Tibetan monk. So far, those are the only guides I have seen. Oh and I have a Native American guide who stands back most of the time. On occasion I can hear them with my physical ears and sometimes I talk to them in dreams. But daily advice I do not receieve! Sometimes they will tell me things that "are" and sometimes they tell me things to expect, but they never verbally tell me how to deal with the situation, so I guess that's where gut feeling comes in.
Imaginary Friends
Most of the time, a child's imaginary friend is a spirit guide. I have read on rare occasions that it can also be an earthbound spirit. According to my mother, I had an imaginary friend. My imaginary friend was a "he." I don't remember him or his name. But my mother told me I would get very irritated if she didn't set a place for him at the table and I would scream if anyone sat on him.
