1-21-06: Here's the lowdown on the new Miss Marple movies, for those who do not know. At Bertram's Hotel and The Mirror Crack'd From Side to Side are shelved, apparently, to make two movies of books in which Miss Marple does not even appear! Sleeping Murder and The Moving Finger will be followed by By the Pricking of My Thumbs (in which Miss Marple will team up with Tommy and Tuppence) and The Sittaford Mystery
(one of Agatha Christie's stand-alone novels). I don't know why they
have to keep messing with Agatha Christie's books in this new series.
But at least David Suchet won't be in The Moving Finger. That whole thing has been proven to be just a rumor.
11-28-05: I know I have been very neglectful of this site, but I promise to have updates very soon!
10-10-05: In
the upcoming Miss Marple film, "The Moving Finger," David Suchet will
star as Poirot. I personally think this is a bad idea, and that they
belong in seperate "worlds." But that's just me, and they could do it
right. Maybe.
