Welcome to our Home Page! We are doing the very best we can to build a better bulldogge©!
We are proud of our dogges and our goal is to create the best dogge possible, sound of mind and body with loyalty and playfulness. We are a small, home based, hobby breeder (we are not a kennel that produces a large number of dogs) where the dogges eat in the same room as the humans. They receive the best care possible and it shows in their health and temperament. We believe in socialization and are active members of Phoenix's only breed club for Olde English Bulldogges - the Grand Canyon State Bulldogge Club. We LIVE bulldogges.
While we have had a lifetime love of the English Bulldog, we were concerned about the health problems that we learned about when it came time for us to buy our first bulldog. There are so many out there with some serious health issues and there are also a great deal that do not, the problem is that you often cannot tell which puppy will grow up to have them and which will not. We also learned that there are many breeders that won't guarantee past 30 or 60 days after you get the puppy. When we discovered the Olde English Bulldogge, we were hooked. That one day changed our lives forever. Never would we have ever dreamed our lives would be so full of fur!
We are very proud of how far we have come from that first bulldogge. We've made many friends across the country (and even some in other countries) as we grew to have more dogges for our foundations our first generations of our own lines and made even more friends with so many who have acquired their puppies from us. We've been very blessed!
Also, we are most proud of our dogges accomplishments since that first show in El Paso, Texas where one of our stud dogges won blue ribbons for his class and trophies for "Best Male" and "Best of Breed" and the excitement when it was down to two dogs for Best in Show and Roscoe was one of them! Although Roscoe did not win the highest honor that day, we were introduced to the winner and his breed - the Olde Boston Bulldogge. Roscoe is not our only dogge that has done well, but our "Good Golly Miss Molly" did just as well at the 2006 IOEBA National Event winning all including "Best in Show". Our produced pups have also done well. Every one of the puppies we produced that were present that day placed and brought ribbons and some with points as well. None lost. That puts it into perspective that we are heading in the right direction with our program and as we have founded the Grand Canyon State Bulldogge Club in 2004, we hope to create more venues closer to home with more opportunities to "finish" our dogges with Championship titles.
We are excited about the future of our program while continuing to be responsible breeders. It's hard work to do what we do, and how we do it, but the breed depends on responsibility. We simply don't beleive in putting any two dogges together and hoping for the best, but carefully choose complementary breedings and strive to make better dogges than what we started with. And while you can get a puppy elsewhere for less dollars out of pocket, you get what you pay for. (If you get a puppy from a Pet store, you will pay more and really not know what you are getting but you will know that the breeder that bred that dog didn't care where it ended up, only for the dollars it brought). Be aware that there are many that don't care more and do your research before you buy any breed from anywhere. Check references and ask questions. We will be asking you lots of questions because we want to know how our dogges are going to be raised and we also want to keep hearing from you for the life of the dogge (and hopefully long after that!) as our responsibility for that puppy does not end when it leaves us.

Roscoe's First Event earned a 1st Place Blue Ribbon-Junior Male Class, Best Male and Best of Breed

Roscoe's 2nd Event: The 2006 Nationals hosted by our club. He earned 1st place in his class (Veteran Male) as well as Best Male.
We were surprised to have our Good Golly Miss Molly earn the rest of the trophies at this event: 1st Place in her Class, Junior Female, Best Female, Best Of Breed and the coveted Best in Show!
We are incredibly pleased with the performance of both of these dogges.

AT ROSCOE'S 3RD EVENT, MISCHIEF AZ'S ROSCOE P. COLETRAIN EARNED HIS CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE AT THE WACO, TX BULLDOGGE SHOWNDOWN FEBRUARY 16, 2008! HE IS THE FOURTH IOEBA OEB CHAMPION AND THE FIRST IOEBA CHAMPION IN ARIZONA! WAY TO GO ROSCOE! THERE WERE FOUR SHOWS DURING THIS EXTENDED EVENT AND THE FIRST SHOW WAS ALL HIS DESPITE FREEZING COLD, RAINY WEATHER THAT HE IS NOT USED TO BEING BORN AND RAISED IN SUNNY ARIZONA.

Our dogges have been carefully chosen to produce the best possible results. We don't breed bulldogges to create puppies for sale, but breed complementary males and females to produce the best possible future generations and producers for our program. We do not have foundational dogges (and do not judge against those that chose this method to produce bullier Oldes) and do not breed for color alone. Our top priority is health, temperament and adherence to the standards.

Quality is priceless but we are a hobby breeder, not a breeder for the dollars alone. We do it for the love of the breed and the desire to build a better bulldogge. The Grand Canyon State Bulldogge Club still has their 2008 Calendars availale for sale - please see their site for more information - This is a fantastic calendar of Oldes from around the country! Also, they are taking submissions for 2009 calendar so please see the website! Even though the year is half way through, this makes a great puppy package addition and because of the limited printing, these will be collectors items in the future as there are a very limited number of calendars printed!
