Message from Kari Kahler, Regional Coordinator:

Hello Everyone!! I am excited to serve as the Coordinator for the MI Region, taking over for Senior Regional Coordinator Tom Obee.  I have been a chapter advisor for the Alpha Rho Pi Chapter at Northwestern MI College in Traverse City since 1997.  I have watched our chapter grow from 1 star to 5 star and what excites me the most is seeing students grow and develop as leaders through taking advantage of all that Phi Theta Kappa has to offer!

Message from Sherry Rietz, Vice President:

Wow! I am so honored to be one of your regional officers.  I can not begin to explain what Phi Theta Kappa has meant for me, but ask me and I'll tell you! With everyday businesses crashing down around us and most of us worried about getting the jobs we have spent time and money studying for, I just want to be an encouragement to the officers and members of our region.  I want to gain information that will not only help you as a member of our Phi Theta Kappa region, but as an individual. So with Phi Theta Kappa on your resume and the leadership skills that this years officer team helps instill in you, you can achieve any goal you set out for!  I love the Michigan Region and can not wait to visit chapters and get to know all of you at our regional meetings!

Message from Roger Hammonds, Alumni Representative:

Hello! Phi Theta Kappa is an inspiration in my life. Whether the experience is being a helping hand in the community, having fellowship among peers, or learning new leadership skills it is rewarding. The guidance you receive from advisors, the recognition obtained from achievements, and the opportunities you gain for future endeavors helps you be the person you are today and will be tomorrow. I hope everyone will embrace this grand opportunity by taking part in an experience that rewards you in ways you can not measure!
