About the Pastor
My name is Pastor Glenn McInteer I was born on October 25, 1959 to James and Marie McInteer. I married Tammy Arnold on May 10, 1980. I was saved in 1982 and filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost on May 29, 1985. I received the call into the ministry and preached my first message on August 1, 1985. Then I worked as an evangelist preaching around the country as God would provide the doors open. The last eight years before becoming a pastor I worked with the Body of Christ ministries in Richmond, Ky. It was during this season of time that Tammy and I took on another outreach tools for souls and that was to become a drama team leader. We worked with at least 35 members to do skits. God blessed us to get the drama done with a TV production. And this tool of Evangelism reached and served hundreds accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. To which we give all honor and Glory to the Lord. Until April 1999 when I began to have services in our home which started around 13 people I and the people began to look for a buildin to start having more than 1 service a week. Everything we found run from $500.00 to $600.00 a month. There was one building for sale on WAIN Street I checked in to and the price was 39,500.00 and they had just sold it. So we kept praying for the Lord to lead us. But in the meanwhile an evangelist and missionary friend of ours Brother Jim Angle was at our home church that week. We sowed a $100.00 offering into his ministry that weekend and within 2 or 3 days the Real Estate Company that had the building called us and ask if we would be interested in buying the building at a great reduction. We ask what kind of reduction were they talking about. They said what about $21,000.00 so we bought it. Since that time we have continued to grow from adding an addition of 16x45 onto our building allowing for 2 more Sunday school rooms and 2 offices as well as more room in the sanctuary. Now we are looking for the Lord to show us the next step. Most every service is run almost over if not totally full at our present size. We ar giving all the glory and praise and honor to the Lord for doing it. At the present time we have several outreach programs. We have the clown and puppet ministries as well as our youth choir also we have a ministry team going out into the youth detention center. We have Sunday school classes for all age groups and also youth leaders that plan an outing for the youth at least once a month if possible.
