Silverymoon Rules of the Games
| Tourney Types |
|---|
Most Common Tourney Layouts, you play until you lose or if you are the last one standing you win! Played in 3 5 or 7 Rds (depending on what the td picks!) and also may be twisted (twists explained below) |
With one of the players starting, you alternate each playing one game until both of you have played the set amount of games apiece. For example, if you called the game 3 and the other person starting, you'd each play 3 games. |
Another common layout, instead of playing until you lose once, you get a second chance! When you lose the first time you are put down into the "basement" or "dungeon" aka the bottom bracket. If you lose the second time your out, when it gets to the finals if you are in the bottom bracket you must win 2 games in a row in order to win the tourney. If the person from the top bracket wins the first game game, they are then claimed the victor and win the tourney. |
This format is a little bit different. The amount of rounds is determined by the amount of players and the first person to win undefeated wins the tourney. The greatest part about this is that everyone gets a second chance. And if you need to leave early just let the TD know, they'll remove you and you just keep the wins-losses up to that point! No penalty ever! |
This format is like a regular swiss but the TD determines how many rounds to play no matter the amount of players. Used most often for the twists that are set up to use a True Swiss (i.e. 7 sins). The person with the most points at the end wins the tourney. The greatest part about this is that everyone gets a second chance. And if you need to leave early just let the TD know, they'll remove you and you just keep the wins-losses up to that point! No penalty ever! |
This Tourney set-up is where players form teams on there own and then compete as a team in order to advance. Each player plays their own game with the captains (person listed first) playing captians and then the second person playing the second person listed. The captians add up the combined scores and the team with the highest combined score is the victor. |
Tourney is same format as the Teams format but instead of players choosing teams, registeration is normal. When the TD closes, teams are then posted and then its normal play. |
Same as Random Team Tourney but DE!!! |
Twists
This tourney is usually used in mini's and consists of 1 game each. The winner of the highest game wins! |
|---|
This twist when you get a 7 anywhere in your score you change it to 11. For example, you get 7130= 11130, or 1570=15110. Remember, No card dropping! |
This twist is like the 7/11 but instead anytime you get a 6 or a 9, they turn into 69. If you get a score with 6 in it you add the 9 in behind. 6400=69400 If you get a score with 9 in it you add the 6 before. 2900=26900. And if you get really luck you can get multiples: 6490= 694690 |
This is a great alternative to regular league games based off the sport. The game is chosen with who starts. Their first game, the base is set so for example, I set it to 15,000. Now, the opponent has 3 chances or strikes in order to pass the base. If he passes base, then it goes back to the original person's and that person has 3 chances to beat the new score. If he don't pass base or if he ties the score (which is considered as another strike) withen the 3 but if on the 3rd strike he/she ties then it's considered a ball and you get to redo the 3rd strike! If not then the game is over. Really fun game!! |
This is an evil but fun twist! At the end of every turn, you drop all zero's out of score! So if you get 8450=845 or 45600=456. |
This twist you reverse your scores. If you get 4580=854 or 9630=369. |
This twist is found in 3/5, 5/7s, and mini's. They each have individual rules: mini's: 3/5 or 5/7: |
This is found in either regular tourneys (usually 20k) as well as mini's (10k). TDs call all players into their room, when they say go, all players start their own game and its a race to reach that goal. First to say Done in the room, gets first dibs on the TD coming into verify, hold all games where they are at until the TD says that you advance and do not click to start a new game over if its near the end. The TD cannot verify if that blue game over box is up as its shows 0. If this happens, you and your opponent will be re-started as by then they have probaly slowed down on their game or stopped. |
This game can also be played in league games. The object is to clear one row at a time. The bottom row must be clear before going to the next line and so forth. If by chance, you click on a card in a different row, your game is stopped there and that is your score. So play slow and be careful!! Please shuffle before playing each turn in the game! |
This twist is really neat! You take your end score- take the first number and put it at the end of your score 4560=5604 or 32000=20003 |
This tourney works with the same format as a race, but for each round that you progress in the tourney, the amount you will be racing to goes up. The TD will let you know before each turn what your amount to race to will be. |
This tourney works with the same format as a race, but for each round in the tourney it will go to more rounds that you would be playing. The TD will let you know before each turn how many rounds you will be playing.. |
When you have completed your turn, look and see if you have any even numbers in your score (2,4,6,8). If you do have any of these numbers you ‘split’ them down. 2 becomes 11, 4 becomes 22, 6 becomes 33 and 8 becomes 44. You only split them down ONCE. |
This is a progressive harder race in Double Elim Format – see above for explanations. |
This is an observation twist! During the tourney, at random times the TD will type ‘’boobies’’. The first player to type ‘’boobies’’ in the lobby first gets awarded a bonus score to add to their turn. Players who are on byes, or, awaiting their next opponent will NOT be awarded any bonus. |
This is an observation twist! During the tourney, at random times, the TD will spell out the name of a moonie but all jumbled up, an anagram basically. The first player to unscramble the Moonies name and type it out correctly in the lobby gets awarded a bonus. All symbols such as underscores must be included. Players who are on byes, or, awaiting their next opponent will NOT be awarded any bonus. |
This twist is affected by what is left showing on your board at the end of your turn. If you have any ACES left showing on your board you add 5000 points for each one to that turns score. If you have any KINGS showing on your board, you subtract 5000 for each one from that turns score. |
When you have completed your turn, look at your score and see if you have any odd numbers in it. If you do, double them! 1=2, 3=6, 5=10,7=14 and 9=18. You only double ONCE! |
At the beginning of the game, the TD will set a ‘target’ score. The player who gets closest to that score with their own TOTAL score WITHOUT going over it wins! Should both players go over, you play one round sudden death. |
The TD runs this Tourney with another member of staff as their co-host. The co-host will ask Questions about themselves and the first player to get the answer correct will receive a bonus from the TD. Each player gets ONE guess per Question and ONE guess per clue. The Questions will be fair for all to answer (i.e. = what is my fav colour? or what year was I born?). This bonus gets added that turns score. Players who are on byes, or, awaiting their next opponent will NOT be awarded any bonus. |
Both players will play as normal in this game with one catch. On your ODD numbered turns you and your opponent will swap scores. IE 5/7 = turns 1, 3, 5 (and 7) you and your opponent swap your scores. For turns 2, 4 (and 6) you keep your own score. |
The TD will ask random generic Questions throughout the tourney making sure everyone will have a fair chance at answering. IE How far is the sun from the earth? Note all players would have a chance of answering as opposed to = which famous school is based in London, England? As this question leans toward the favour of UK based players, this would not be fair. The TD will award a bonus to the player that answers correctly. The players get ONE guess per Question and ONE guess per clue. Players who are on byes, or, awaiting their next opponent will NOT be awarded any bonus. |
These are just miniature tourneys usually of 1 turn each. They will be spaced 15 mins apart, or on occasion 30 mins apart. You CANNOT be playing in more than one mini at once. Watch the lobby closely, it can get quite hectic at times! |
In this twist the ROUND you play to increases with each TURN you play. The TD will set the round limit before starting. IE top round of TWO is set. On your first turn you will play until you clear round 1 and STOP. This is your score for turn 1. You opponent will do the same. On your second turn, you play until you clear ROUND 2 and STOP. Your opponent does the same. Add the scores together and that’s your total. If a top round of 3 were set you would play a third turn and STOP when you clear ROUND 3. If you don’t clear the round for the relevant turn you play until you do. |
You must play the cards in alternating color sequence. The color you start with depends on the color of the cards that is face up in your draw pile. If the bottom cards is a red 5, then you must play a black 4 or 6 on it. If you make a mistake, stop where you are & you must take that score. |
In this twist everytime you get a 0 in your score you get to add one next to it forming snake eyes!! For Example: 2510=25100 and 20420=2004200 |
In this twist everytime you get there is a 10 in your score you have to drop everything after it! If there happens to be two 10s in the score you drop everything after the first one! Examples: 81050=810; 105100=10 |
At the end of your round you arrange your score in sequence from High to low! Examples: 58460=86450; 182040=842100 |
At the end of your round you arrange your score in sequence from low to high! Examples: 58460=4568; 182040=1248 |
Played as a regular 3 or 5 games. After each round you post your score in the room. Your opponent decides right then and there whether you get to "keep it" or "kill it." If your told to kill it your score for that round becomes a 0. You only get one kill per game so CHOOSE WISELY! Its decided upon after that round, NO GOING BACK!! |

double every number in your score that's 7 and up (7,8,9) IE 1780=177880; 57690=5776990 |
10k per round twist: Add 10k to your score for every round you made it to: IE My score is 2060 and I'm in round one...2060+10k= 12060, or My score is 54960 and I'm in round six...54960+ 60k=114960. |
Whenever you get doubles in your score, you must drop them. i.e. 8860=60; 45590=490; 97750=950 |
This twist affects the start of each turn. Players must shuffle before starting each turn. Players will look at the 1st row of cards showing (draw card does NOT count), and, using these, will try to make the best poker hand available using 5 of the cards available. Poker hands are: Royal Flush - 10, J, Q, K, A Same suit Straight Flush – 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 Same suit (and 5 cards in sequence). Four of a Kind – 7, 7, 7, 7, A Four cards of same value. Full House – 2, 2, 2, J, J Three of a kind plus a pair Flush – 6, J, 2, Q, 3(all hearts) Five cards all of the same suit. Straight – 2, 3, 4, 5, 6(diff suits) Five cards in sequence but not all of the same suit Three of a Kind – 8, 8, 8, 2, 4 Three cards of same value. Two Pair – 7, 7, 3, 3, 2 Two pairs One Pair – 3, 3, 5, 8, 10 One pair High Card – K, 3, 7, 2, 9 Highest card, no other hand available. The TD will tell you the bonus for each hand before the tourney starts. |

Since the trinity is 3 in 1, all 3s become 11 and all 1s become 3s. i.e 300=1100 or 100=300 |
Mode Twist! Whenever you get 2 or more of one number in your score, you double it! They don't have to be next to each other. i.e. 2120=4140, 33780=66780, 8780=167160,26220=46440 |
Every time you get a 6 in your score, place two other 6's either side! i.e 1260 = 126660 14660 = 146666660 |
In this twist, you'll "double" one of the numbers in your score each time it appears. For instance, if you choose the number 3, your scores will be twisted like this: 3150=33150, 4320=43320, 33650=3333650. |
******** GHOST FLIPPER ****Certain numbers can be flipped*** these numbers include : 2 5 6 9, They will flip into; 2 = 5 5 = 2 6 = 9 9 = 6 numbers MUST Only be flipped once, score example 1260 = 1590 9520 = 6250

** **LUCKY NUMBER** While you are playing, the Tourney Director will announce "STOP" you must stop playing, at that moment. All people who are playing must announce "READY". Then the TD will Announce a particular card number and suit. If you have that card, anywhere on your board, then you add a 5000 bonus Announce I GOT LUCKY in chat so your opponent can acknowledge. You're partner MUST acknowledge the POST or it WILL NOT COUNT.
