Manchester's Global Music Station

MiM Radio Presents... New Bands

Each year here at MiM Radio we bring out a charity CD compilation, featuring the very best in new and unsigned Manchester bands. The first CD, Manchester is Music Presents... New Bands 2007 was a phenomenal success, featuring incredible music from some of the finest new bands Manchester has ever produced. This year is no different, with the New Bands  2008 CD featuring an incredible crop of unsigned musical talent. This time out, the tracklisting for the main CD was put to the public vote, with the ten tracks making the final cut decided by fans on our Myspace page. The full tracklisting for the New Bands 2008 CD, as well as the ultra-limited Special Edition CD, can be found below, and both of these CDs, plus the first New Bands CD, can be purchased from us directly by visitng our web store.

And remember: all profits from anything in our Webstore go to Unicef.

Get Well Soon, John

MiM Radio's own Rockin' John Cron has been very poorly recently, and is currently fighting a very brave battle against cancer. We're sure the entire MiM Radio family of fans, friends and co-workers will join us in wishing John a speedy recovery, and we're glad to say that we'll still have John's fantastic shows on the site whilst he's currently in hospital, as he has recorded them several months in advance.

Get well soon mate - you're in our thoughts and prayers.

Matt and the MiM Team xx
