Okay,I haven't updated this site in over a MONTH.I've been really busy at school lately, but that's just what takes my time.My connection to Freewebs is slow, but I don't want to lose people if I change hosts. The main thing taking my time is all these misunderstandings and stuff between my friends and I.I recently got into a fight with eighth graders, and it's really been a huge deal for me.I'm trying to put things back to the way it was two months ago with us.I'm still looking for some stuff to make this boring site better, but I barely have time to breathe. Now,I go online like 10 at night on school days just to update stuff. But I really don't want to leave this site behind, especially after all the people we've been getting.BIG thanks to Island Bomb! for the hits.I also need more affiliates.I'll make a support button soon for those who need, but for the mean time, please just use a clicky.I'm updating a few stuff on the site, thinking of changing the layout, but I don't know..I'm thinking of going on hiatus[].Maybe for a few weeks at least. But I promise,I'll be online if I can, then I'll update more!

Milo and Masi Oka head down under

[thanks to

Last week, Milo Ventimiglia and Masi Oka proved once again why it's pretty cool to have super powers. Or at least portray characters that have super powers.

The actors spent time with fans in Sydney, Australia, promoting the second season DVD of Heroes. Follow this article's jump now to see pics of Milo and Masi in action...

Masi and Milo

Masi Says Hi

Happy Milo

Expect the Unexpected;9/13

Expect the unexpected, was the message from Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia for the new season of the hit American series.

“Peter is not quite himself,” the actor told OK! Magazine (US edition) about his character. “He really is influenced by the people around him and may be acting out of character.”

Milo was speaking outside a party held in Los Angeles to celebrate the forthcoming series premiere.

Other Heroes stars on the red carpet included Hayden Panettiere, Jack Coleman, Ali Larter, Masi Oka, Zachary Quinto, and Adrian Pasdar.

Meanwhile, Jack Coleman, who plays Hayden’s TV dad Noah Bennet in the show praised his on-screen daughter for the way she handles life in the media spotlight.

“Her poise is extraordinary,” he said. “I couldn’t handle her life as well as she does. There’s no way I could handle people saying the things about me that they say about her.”

The new third series of Heroes will hit US screens on September 22.

Updated![8/6/08]

Too much Milo?!Well, the site finally had its own update. As ridiculous as it may sound,I just found the 'post comment' today, and I still can't find a way to have a SECOND page for the updates without it being on the nav bar.Yes,I like to be too professional a lot!Anyways,I never ever have time to update! Why?SCHOOL!We were like the first school on island to start.Pretty irritating to see my cousin home and using his computer

And,the first month of school was a bit 'too much' for me.I didn't expect Junior High to be...well...a living hell.I got more problems now,and I don't just mean academically.I have too much on my mind to update! But you know what?!Such a tiny site like this,I've got about 150 hits already.Well, that's a lot for a beginner site,no?But that's including last July's,the one above is for August. But I update at school, too. But a few people see me and ask me some pretty random questions, and I get really annoyed.Plus, there's pep rally practice every Saturday from 1-4pm.Great way to use my Saturday, huh?Especially when there's always power outages when I get home..We do absolutely nothing in the first two and a half hours but talk and sit there. But I was lucky i brought my iPod.If not,I'd probably have jumped off the window. And I have to put up with tight braces next week, and a friend of mine told me it feels like your teeth are falling off when you get them tightened.

I also got my MySpace deleted recently...stupid Chris DeWolfe..I had to make a new one.And the site's space got 42 friends after only four days!I'm so proud of myself, but I still need to get Photoshop for my lappytop! That's it for today, check back in a few days to see if the site's updated already! But I'm grounded Mon-Thurs. so,

Milo Tells on 'Don't Ask'[posted by vesper;9/6/08]

Oft-shirtless actor Milo Ventimiglia recently came out against Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell to homo-journo Brandon Voss:

“When it comes down to it, gay or straight, you’re holding a weapon and fighting for our country, so sexuality seems irrelevant. It bothers me that in this day and age people are still looked at differently for having a sexual orientation that isn’t in agreement with an old institution such as the military. That being said, I can understand why a gay person in the military would just not want to say anything about it, because it would probably attract unnecessary attention. At the same time, it makes me sad to think that people can’t live their life openly, thinking that they won’t be accepted. “

Ventimiglia also tells Voss that his sister used to dress him up as Madonna and he wanted blogger Perez Hilton to draw cum all over his face.

Stars - they’re just like us!

Milo wants to play Robin on the upcoming 'Batman" film.

Milo Ventimiglia wants to play Robin in a new Batman film.

The 31-year-old actor — who is dating his Heroes co-star Hayden Panettiere — is desperate to play the caped-crusader’s famed sidekick if the part should come up in a future outing to Gotham City.

He explains, “I always thought I would make a great Robin.

“I would love to be Christian Bale’s sidekick in Batman. Even when I was younger I never wanted to be Batman.

“I have always wanted to be Robin. To this day I still think that would be pretty cool.”

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that 62-year-old singer Cher won’t be playing Catwoman in a third Christopher Nolan-directed Batman film.

A spokesman for Warner Bros. said that reports the Believe hitmaker would be joining a cast including Johnny Depp as the Riddler “are untrue.”

Game

The teaser trailer for “Game” won’t be out until the holidays — since the film was just delayed until next year — but co-star Milo Ventimiglia (”Heroes”) said it’ll be worth the wait. The game in “Game” — from “Crank” and “Pathology” creators Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor — is a futuristic multiplayer in which you can control other people. Gerard Butler’s, John Leguizamo’s, and Ventimiglia’s characters are forced to play first person games, and are considered just Sim-like avatars by the people who play them, and control their actions remotely, much like you would on a Wii.

The game is watched by millions online, and the players are pop culture heroes. But in the real world, the players are death row prisoners, who hope that playing the game will set them free. If you win 30 games, you’re out (hey, it’s one way to alleviate an overburdened prison system). Butler’s character, John Tillman — who plays under the handle Kable — is the first person to ever get close to that number.

While Butler’s Kable — who may have been falsely imprisoned — is forced to kill in the game called “Slayerz”, what Ventimiglia’s character does is “a little more disturbing,” as you might guess from his name — Rick Rape. “He’s a very misunderstood character,” Ventimiglia said. “He’s kind of loose and slippery and he doesn’t operate like a regular human being.”

Visually, he should be disturbing as well, Ventimiglia said, since the character wears a latex outfit that makes him look like “a bumblee fucked a black widow and acts like a snake.” Quite an image.

On set w/ Milo V.

After a disappointing sophomore season that saw fan criticism, a drop in viewers by 15 percent and a shortened run because of the Writers Strike, the NBC telvision series “Heroes” is back this fall with a vengeance. Dubbed “Volume Three: Villains,” the season promises to address some of the complaints that fans had about the second season, which included a slow build up to the main story and the addition of new characters that took away focus from the main cast.

CBR News stopped by the “Heroes” set in Los Angeles to with Milo Ventimiglia, who plays one of the show’s chief characters, Peter Petrelli. In part one of a three-part interview, the actor speaks candidly with us about the new season, which begins airing on September 22, new cast members and the long awaited introduction of Arthur Petrelli.

Ventimiglia began by talking about how “Heroes” plans to deal with some of the fans complaints in its third season. “I think there’s always a concern that when you bring in new people that you limit your time with the old people,” said the actor. “I think that the producers have done a very good job this year of balancing that. I think they understood that when we were all separated in the second season, the fans weren’t too into that. When you bring in a new character, bring him in with a reason. Bring him in with a purpose. Don’t just pack it with a bunch of new faces that nobody knows.”

Despite fans’ negative reaction to the show’s adding of “needless” characters such as Maya and Alejandro to last season’s roster, “Heroes” will introduce at least two more new characters in “Villains.” The first is Daphne, a super-speedster played by Brea Grant (“Friday Night Lights,”) who is said to be the Joker to Hiro’s Batman. The second character is Knox, portrayed by Jamie Hector from “The Wire.” Knox is a dangerous villain who’s been locked away in the Company’s secret prison, Level 5, for years and suddenly breaks out.

Ventimiglia wants to assure fans that these characters have been added for a reason. “Jamie’s character, Knox, has a great presence in this whole chapter. So does Brea’s character, she’s got a huge presence and they’re both fun,” said the actor. “It’s a pretty easy going group here, and I got to say Jamie and Brea fit in really nice.”

Knox and Daphne aren’t the only additions to the show this season. Practically since “Heroes” began, fans have wondered when they would be introduced to the oft-mentioned but never seen head of the Petrelli family, Arthur Petrelli. Viewers were delighted earlier this summer, when it was announced that Oscar nominee Robert Forester (“Jackie Brown”) would be playing the Petrelli family monarch in the third season of “Heroes.”

“That was always one of those things that had such a huge mystery behind it,” Ventimiglia said of the enigmatic character. “I think every scene that we do, we’re discovering more than what we had just talked about. [Arthur’s] such a complicated character. He impacts everybody for his own need or want to be important and be the most powerful.”

About Forester’s work on the “Heroes” set, Ventimiglia said, “It’s great. I’ve worked with him before in a movie called ‘Cursed,’ which died a very awful death. He was in the film and then they rewrote the film and he wasn’t in it. So I got a chance to spend time on the set. It’s nice being back on set. He’s a great guy and I’m having a lot of fun.”

“Heroes” has a very active fan community, which is often very vocal with their opinions. Ventimiglia talked about his feelings regarding online criticism. “A lot of it is a bit of pride and a bit of grain and salt. You feel proud that they’re talking about it,” he said. “You’re excited by the fact that they’re talking about it. But also, you know that if you sit around and read everything that you see online, it’s like man, your going to spend a lot of time doing that. Personally, I’d like to show up at work and then go be with my family and friends.”

Finally, the actor talked about the show’s online campaign that includes original webisodes and webcomics. “A lot of that I haven’t been able to see, there’s so much information if you’re really seeking it,” Ventimiglia confessed. “I guess because I live in **that** world everyday, I don’t really have such a pull to go online and find out what Mohinder Suresh is up to!”

“Heroes Volume Three: Villains” starts saving fans September 22 on NBC.

“Heroes” star Milo Ventimiglia, who plays fan-favorite Peter Petrelli on the hit NBC show, is a huge fan of comic books. Not only is the actor currently filming episodes for the third season of the comics-inspired show dubbed “Heroes Volume Three: Villains,” but he’s also teamed with Devil’s Due Publishing to launch his own comic book, “Rest,” the first issue of which is in stores now.

CBR News recently visited the “Heroes” set in Los Angeles to speak with the actor about “Heroes,” and in this second of a three-part interview with Milo Ventimigilia, he discusses with us his new book, his love for the comics medium, and what it’s like to see his image in the work of some of comics’ greatest artists.

“Rest” is about a white-collar New Yorker whose life changes when he becomes addicted to a drug that prevents him from falling asleep. “It actually came out of the writer’s strike,” explained Ventimiglia. “I had a great script from this writer named Michael Sullivan that needed a little work, but when the strike happened we couldn’t sit down and work on it so we pitched it out to a couple of comic book companies.”

The story of “Rest” was developed by Ventimiglia and his Divided Pictures partner Russ Cundiff, with a script by Mark Powers (“Drafted,” “G.I. Joe: America’s Elite”) and artwork by Shawn McManus. “We’ve got tons of great cover artists,” Ventimiglia said, adding, “What we’re doing is guiding the overall story. What Mark Powers’ is doing is taking the source material, which is the story by Michael Sullivan, and cutting loose; creating this huge world with its individual struggle and the weight of the world on this one guy’s shoulders.”

When asked if he could see himself eventually adapting “Rest” into a film project, the actor said, “I can see it in a number of different ways. I mean it could be a movie, it could be a digital series, it could be a TV show or it could just be a great comic. That’s the thing that I think myself and my partner are very much wanting to do, just make a good book. He knows how passionate I am about comics and graphic novels. That’s all we want to do, just make a really good book.”

Ventimiglia and his company have another book they’re producing with Top Cow called “Berserker,” which will be coming out in the first quarter of next year. “It’s funny, it’s like you have one entrance in and now you get a couple of opportunities,” the actor said. “I was a huge comic book fan when I was a kid. I went to a place called Fidonia Funnies in Orange County once a week with my Dad. It’s nice to be able to give back. I feel like I’m contributing to a bit of the world that raised me, in a sense.”

It’s widely known that comic book artist Tim Sale’s work is used on “Heroes,” often in the form of character Isaac Mendez’s prophetic paintings. However, several other fan-favorite artists have worked on the webcomics and graphic novels inspired by the series, including Alex Ross, Jim Lee and the late Michael Turner. Ventimiglia talked about what it is like as a comic book fan to see his image in the work of these great artists. “It’s bizarre. I was a fan first and now I’m working with these guys in a sense or playing their subject matter. But it’s absolutely exciting.”

Where a lot of young actors are careful to not be pigeonholed into one type of role, Ventimiglia is just the opposite. “If they called me and said, do you want to play Spider-Man? Of course, I would,” said the actor. “I was actually having a conversation last night, with [Marvel Studios Chairman] David Maisel and he was talking about ‘Iron Man.’ He was basically saying that it’s a character piece where the guy just happens to be a superhero.

“I think as long as we, here on ‘Heroes,’ or anybody who is making movies about comics and superheroes, stay with the struggle of the character, then all the extraordinary events that surround them are just going to add to the reason why people are drawn into these stories. So they can watch these characters go through things.”

Ventimiglia continued, “Being invited into [the world of comic books], I often feel like the Hollywood industry is looked at sometimes with squinted eyes when we’re trying to walk into a place that we haven’t been before. So going into comic properties, you know people are going to say, what are you going to do? I would hold that world very sacred. But I think walking in, doing it justice and almost legitimizing it to the masses, I think it’s kind of a cool, cool thing.

“So I have no fear of jumping into it. Going from [‘Heroes’] to playing a superhero in anything else that I do. You know, it’s kind of cool. You want to be a superhero when you grow up.”

“Heroes Volume Three: Villains” will break into viewers’ homes September 22 on NBC.

Milo plays Snapper to capture Hayden's big gig

As much as I hate Milo's love life,it's still Milo right?Milexis fan forever.

HEROES star MILO VENTIMIGLIA turned pit photographer on Saturday (09Aug08) to capture girlfriend HAYDEN PANETTIERE’s latest allstar gig.
The actor urged event snappers to concentrate on his teenage girlfriend and not him as he tried to get shots of Panettiere’s concert with Band From TV.
One fellow snapper tells WENN, “He told us, `I’m just one of you guys tonight.’”
The actress performed with Heroes co-stars Greg Grunberg and Adrian Pasdar, James Denton and House castmates Jesse Spencer and Hugh Laurie, who all make up Band From TV.
Denton’s Desperate Housewives co-star Teri Hatcher also sang with the band at the outdoor concert at the Autry National Center of The American West.

USO pics

Heroes hottie Milo Ventimiglia celebrated his 31st birthday earlier this month with some real-life heroes — U.S. soldiers!

The television star took a break from shooting his hit NBC series to visit the military troops on a USO tour, spending nearly a week in Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan. The troops even presented him with a birthday cake for his efforts!

“The tendency is for people to just read the news and talk about the war,” Milo has said. “That wasn’t enough for me. To be able to come out here and say ‘thank you’ was important to me. It made me really happy to see smiling faces. That’s what it is all about, knowing I made their day.”

He added, “My father’s a veteran, my uncle’s a veteran, my grandfather was a veteran. I nearly went into the Navy myself when I was 18. So I got a chance to go overseas and give the men and women of the armed forces a little bit of a respite.”

And apparently the troops keep up with Heroes! Milo shared, “When I was over in Iraq and Afghanistan, a lot of soldiers were like, `Dude, will you just kill Sylar already? Will you just get rid of him?’ And I’m like, `Man, I don’t know if you’re gonna want that just yet. I think you’re going to be very surprised as to what happens.’”

Heroes mideast trip and Heroes Season Three

“Iron Man” isn’t the only superhero to visit the Middle East this summer. Milo Ventimiglia, who plays power-absorbing Peter Petrelli on NBC’s “Heroes,” traveled to the region last week as part of a USO tour of U.S. bases in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait. He met many soldiers who were familiar with his show, and had strong opinions about his character’s nemesis, Sylar (played diabolically by Zachary Quinto).

“When I was over in Iraq and Afghanistan, a lot of soldiers were like, `Dude, will you just kill Sylar already? Will you just get rid of him?’” Ventimiglia told The Associated Press during a telephone interview this week. “And I’m like, `Man, I don’t know if you’re gonna want that just yet. I think you’re going to be very surprised as to what happens.’”

NBC-released video teasers for the series’ third season, premiering Sept. 22, promote the theme of the next “Heroes” chapter, titled “Villains.” In one clip, these ominous words pop up: “Good will battle evil. Because in every hero, there could be a villain.”

In that case, could Peter — one of the so-called good guys — wind up swapping places with Sylar?

Ventimiglia said he wouldn’t disagree with that theory. He also said Volume Three will be “so good” — a step in the right direction from season two, which was criticized heavily by fans for its draggy plotlines, among other complaints.

“I’m a tough critic,” Ventimiglia said. “The first season, I remember the producers would come up to me … after we’d all watch an episode, and they’d say, sort of, `What do you think?’ And I’d either hem or haw or say it was good or not. They kinda won me this year. The scripts are great, the feeling on set is nothing but fun. I mean, we’re really just doing some good work that I’m very proud of.”

The 31-year-old actor said returning to Los Angeles — and to work on “Heroes” — feels surreal after his weeklong USO tour. His travel compantions included NFL players Drew Brees, Osi Umenyiora and two Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders.

Blinded by the football star power, some soldiers would “look at me like I was an AP photographer because I was carrying around this gigantic camera with me all the time,” joked Ventimiglia, who snapped a “bunch of great shots” during his trip.

Milo To propose to Hayden

Milo Ventimiglia is reportedly planning to save Hayden Panettiere from spinsterhood by asking her to marry him!

The 31-year old Heroes hottie met his 18-year old co-star of the set of the sci-fi show and quickly became enamored with her.

And now he plans to take their relationship further by asking for her hand in marriage, according to In Touch.

A friend reveals that he would preferably like to be engaged this year, adding: “Milo was looking at rings in late June. He really likes Cartier and intends to spend around $200,000.”
