MilliHelp is...

While a programming language can be thought of as a sleketon of a body, software libraries are the body's meat. The better you know these libraries, the more this meat looks like well trained muscles.

MilliHelp is a kind of a quick reference. It shows information in a compact form, and is handy to use as an everyday means and hot reference. Such a reference tries to represent a whole separate topic of the subject on a single screen (a page or a broadside). It is intended to be used both as an electronic document, or as a printed paper document.

• Active use of layout and color helps to get information at a glance.
• Seeing the whole picture of a topic gives you direct access to the infomation (as opposed to sequential access, when you look through a plain list of elements looking for one that you need).
• Often, you can see roles of the members of a software library and relations between them. Without understanding these aspects, you have only a heap of elements, and it seems hard to glue them together.
• Having such intergal clues makes it easier to memorise the material, that eventually results in faster and more comfortable programming.

The first page of a MilliHelp quick reference is navigational. It contains hyperlinks to separate topics. And the "Legend" link opens a help topic for the MilliHelp itself.

Printout...

Millihelp references represent information, heavily relying on colors. Thus, a color printer is a must when making a paper copy! Otherwise, a part of information will be lost.

Such a printout can then be stitched up into a brochure, so that each topic is seen as a whole on a single page or broadside.

Probably, there are people who like to hang printouts on walls. This is a possible way, either.
