past Abuse

One of the hard things to over come is the fear.

I hope that this site can become a place for people to talk, share what they know, and learn from eachother.  We all have made it this far, no  matter how far that is.  We can keep going, and take back our lives. We can help others or we can do nothing.  I hope to help as many as I can. Are you with me?  Are you going to hide?  It takes a strong person to tell the truth, and stand up against something that is so wrong.  But we are not all that strong alone. Lets stand together and take back what is ours. Fight the good fight, and never stand down. Take the power away from the abuser.  The only reason he or she has that power is because we keep locked in side. If you stand up and speak out then that power will fade.  It is hard, and the emotional abuse we have had to deal with makes it seem like we will never be free.  But we can be free, we can fight back. I no longer want to hide from my life.  IT IS MY LIFE I AM TAKING IT BACK!

It is not about my "friends" or "family"  It is about me!  There is nothing wrong with me sharring this, and if you think so then oh well.

My name is Destiny.  For a long long time online I used the name Millia Dark.  I used that name in most of my writing online, mostly because I did not want anyone to know me.  Now I don't care who knows who I am, and Who knows my story.  I think it needs to be told.

This page or site or whatever it will become is about abuse.  I think I shall start with my story. It has been 7 years but it is so hard to talk about it. I want this site to be a safe place to talk about it. To see in black and white what happened. To look at it and see that it is ok to be mad, and hurt. Take that anger and turn it into something good. Its hard. It is always hard. But we can heal.  Take the time to write out what has happened to you. Get into as much detail as you want, just write it out, dont think just write. You never have to see it again. Just get it out of you. Share what has helped you heal!  Be there to help!  Everything happens for a reason, this too. Try to find the reason.  Help another in need.
