There's no great way to describe yourself on a website, but in any case, this should sum everything up.
At the age of 11, I bought a box copy of Counter-Strike. After realizing how great of an impact level design has on immersion and realism, I decided to turn
my own ideas and visions into playable levels for Counter-Strike and several Half-Life mods. To further pursue these ideas, I eventually started my own modifications, and have since spent nearly 10 years in the Half-Life, Source, and Operation Flashpoint communities developing these projects and working for others.
While I specialize in level design, other abilities include texturing, first-person and weapon animation, prop modeling, sound design, and intermediate scripting, among others.
I currently work as a level designer for Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat. As part of a small development team, I design and create multiplayer maps to be included with this award-winning Source modification. My work emphasizes aesthetics, geographic realism, and innovative design while maximizing performance under engine limitations.
