After six months, three rejections and much gnashing of teeth, Hearts have finally appointed a new manager. Csaba Laszlo. The 44-year-old former Ferencváros and Borussia Mönchengladbach coach has signed a three-year contract.
Romania-born Laszlo has a decent track record and was working as manager of Uganda who he had taken twenty places up the FIFA world rankings. Will he be given a free reign to pick the team? The Hearts website stated Laszlo will work with sport director Anatoly Korobochka on first-team matters.
