MI horses are little adoptables that sit on your pony island profile. These tiny equines are no larger than a cat! That's really small! They are great lap pets, and love to play in paddling pools and sand pits. They make great pets for youngsters especialy, but make sure you keep an eye on them when young children play with them because they're very delicate and need to be treated with care.
Insular dwarfism is a process and condition of the shrinking in size of large animals - almost always mammals - when their population is limited to a very small area, mostly islands.
This effect has shown itself many times in natural history, including dinosaurs and modern animals such as elephants and even human beings.
There are several explanations for the thing that causes this dwarfism, which are often thought likely to be connected, including an evolved genetic response to environmental stress, as well as a selective process where only the smaller of the animals trapped on the island survive, as food falls to a minimum level. The smaller animals need less food, and so are more likely to get past the point where a fall in the population allows food sources to restore enough for the survivors to flourish.

This is the case with MI horses. Long ago there was a large country with lots of horses in it, one day there was a great flood, and some of the horses got stuck on an island. Many, many years later, a group of explorers discovered the island where these tiny horses lived. Now they need you to take them home with you and look after them!
