Midnight Star Stables

Welcome to Midnight Star Stables. We are a small miniature horse show stable in the Pefferlaw area, Ontario, Canada; Just one and 1/2 hours north of Toronto, and across the lake from Barrie. At this time, we are the proud owners of six miniature horses. News flash, we have now decided to breed for the sought after frame overo colour in AMHR miniature horses. See our new mare Cat on our mares page and keep checking in from time to time to see our new overo additions.

As a small, family run stable, we enjoy training our horses by our self’s for the most part. We Love showing our miniature horses in our local series MHCO club shows, and that great pride with the prizes we win, as we know that they are from hours and hours of hard work and training. We show both Joy, Donovan and Nitro. The team had a successful show in the USA at the AMHR National Area 2 horse show in 2008 and we are hopeful that we will attend the grand AMHR Nationals in 2008. Donovan is our Jr. stallion, with striking black tovero markings. Joy is nicely refined and has a beautiful head. Nitro is quite the mover, and will hopefully be turning heads. They are all great beginning horses for our farm.

As of this time, we are looking forward for our first 2009 AMHR foal. We hope that our foals will be black and white pintos in colour, with long refined legs that hold up a Beautifully trimmed body and an elegant head and neck formed Arabian like with lovely dish-y faces. Our foals will be show quality, moving with flowing, high stepping trots with hock actions, and have what it takes to win in the ring. We have been researching, learning and talking, to do our best to create great quality in black and white. We started off with looking for a mare with colour and beauty, and invest a lot of time and money with her. Then we found another mare, and hopefully soon another. We have great plans, and hope that you will remember use when it comes time to start selling these dream foals of ours. Our stallion is a AMHR colt bred from National titles throughout his pedigree. Donovan, is an amazing young horse who will show throughout the next couple years. He is very eye catching and will help us bred for top foals. Donovan is now for sale.
