>>Sonic and the Secret Rings Changes Release Date(5:44 PM)<<
The schedule March 2007 release date has been changed to Spring 2007. Lets hope the game still comes out in March, it looks really awesome and Sega needs to produce a good 3D Sonic game for once. Even Sonic Next-Gen was a failure.

>>Pokemon Battle Revolution Information(5:46 PM)<<
There are 6 base models for the Custom Trainers with a massive variety of accessories and choices, many of which are obtained over time as you earn PokéCoupons and defeat the Colosseums. They vary from a Young Boy & Girl to Body Builders or Women.

After you have defeated all of the Colosseums and completed a certain task, you will be able to utilise the Lucario Suit that the leader uses in your custom character designs.

A New Colosseum has been revealed. It features Midnight Battles in front of a castle that was made in the design of Toridepusu's Skull. This colosseum is said to be used for the most powerful battles.

So far there are only 10 colosseums avaible, time will tell if there are anymore.

There is the Free Battle mode that allows you to challenge your friends. However, you can do this with the Wii Remote and even save your team and character onto it and take it to a friends house if you don't have access to your DS.

WiFi has two modes: Battling your friends through the use of the Wii's Friend Codes and you can be matched against people across the world based on your own skills. This is in real time unlike the battles in the Battle Tower of Diamond & Pearl.

>>Naruto Wii(5:52 PM)<<

LOL, I got banned from Serebii Forums at 8 PM for a month. You can view the post I was banned for here. "Linking to explicit content" - even though it doesn't look like I'm joking, I was actually joking. My kind friend who is a mod there tried to get me unbanned, but ofcourse that doesn't work ~ but it's the thought that counts right? ^^ ~ It doesn't really matter, there are several other forums I post on, I really need to post on my own >_<. Anyways, if anyone is from Serebii don't waste your time trying to get me unbanned because it won't work and you will only get yourself banned. I want to thank all of my loyal readers for their support! BTW, the mod I was banned by was Ninjit ~ just to let yall know ;)

>>Wii Remote Wrist Strap Problems(4:15 PM)<<
Well it seems that there have been alot of incidents with the Wii Remote, such as busted TV screens, a light broken, and even a Window as shown below. People using the wrist strap seem to throw the remote and expect the wrist strap to hold it. The wrist strap is just there so if you let go it won't fall to the ground and break. First of all, you are not supposed to throw the Wii Remote, you just use your wrists, there is no excuse for these accidents, these people are idiots. Kotaku has a poll up asking if you or friends/family have had problems with the wrist strap busting; you can check out that poll here.

The purpose of the FAQ is to show how to upload your saves to WiiSave.com to share with anyone on the net, but if you don?t want to take that step, you don?t have to. We have successfully transferred saves via SD, but I have to warn that you take caution when you take the extra step of storing them on your PC. Make sure you follow the instructions exactly?and even then?use at your own risk! If your too lazy, here is a link to the site: WiiSave.com

>>Famitsu News ~ Mistwalker(2:17 PM)<<
ASH is 50% complete

Mistwalker has 3 other titles in production at the moment

It appears that out of the 3 Mistwalker games in development, one of them in particular is a joint production with a developer in the West (of Japan that is) and is for either the Wii or the DS. That implies that it might be a Nintendo joint production

For those of you who do not know, ASH(Archaic Sealed Heat) is a game for the Nintendo DS that was announced right before the Nintendo DS's launch back in 2004. We haven't seen much since some screenshots from last year, so the game may or may not be different by now. Hopefully we'll start getting screenshots sometime soon and maybe more information on the plot of the game and what kind of game it is exactly.

Give 1,000 rupees to the Goron at Malo Mart for fixing the bridge, give an additional 2,000 rupees to bring the shop at the center of Castle Town so oyu can purchase a Magic Armor for 598 rupees. There is a STAR Minigame, and with a Clawshot you can grapple onto cage walls so you can earn 60-arrows and if you win again you can get 100.

Go to southeastern part of Castle Town to meet Agitha, round up 24 Golden Bugs for her and give her one bug for Big Wallet (holds 600 rupees) and all 24 for Giant Wallet (1,000 rupee capacity). Speak to the fortune teller Fanadi in Castle Town and speak about your career so she can point out your next challenge and speak about love to get a piece of heart. There are 45 Pieces of Heart in the game. (Note: the next two pages are dungeons which have been reported before in spoiler posts except the last one) There is a ?Rollgoal Minigame? where you press the C button to look at the game and you have to roll a ball through a maze (in Hena?s shop) and you can earn a ?frog lure? if you win the eight maze. There is more info and I suggest getting a copy of this magazine or read the official guide itself.

UPDATE 8: Interview with Zelda director Eiji Aonuma, the following is an excerpt: ?I think it?s safe to say that Twilight Princess has a lot more Miyamoto influence than other recent Zelda games? The total scale of the world, has definitely surpassed that of Ocarina of Time. There are a lot more dungeons as well?I must warn you that this game will take a lot longer to complete than Ocarina of Time?there were actually instances whee the control changes made for Wii were adapted to GCN, and they ended up improving the gameplay in the Gamecube version?Twilight Princess is set about a hundred years after Ocarina of Time?Twilight Princess has elements in it that were made so that people who played Ocarina can say ?Oh, I remember this!??releasing Twilight Princess for the Gamecube and creating a whole new Zelda for Wii immediately after (as it was planned) that would have been extremely diffciult to do time-wise.?

?I haven?t decided whether we?ll make Link right-handed or left-handed in future Zelda games?(he likes Goron Mines the best and his favorite character in the game is Link)?(in the future) I hope to offer more guidance to these talented young creators (on the TP team) so they can create a Zelda that I would never be able to make.?

UPDATE 9: Next feature in Excite Truck and in Summary (point-form):
1. Most of it you?ll have to see the screenshots (they are new) to read about it
2. You?ll earn 50 stars for finishing first in the game
3. Later tracks you?ll need to get a minimum of 100 or 150 stars
4. Strategies to use is Smash-Tested (crashing into opponents by boosting), end faster and hit a morph switch when trucks are in front of you
5. The feature looks at ?Super Tree Run? in Scotland and Canada, ?Super Air Spin? in Finland and Mexico, ?Jump Combo? in Fiji and ?Super Drift? from China.

UPDATE 10: Castlevania creator ?Iga? on the Wii: ?I am still thinking of all the possibilities, but right now I am thinking about all the systems the next game could be on. For me, the Wii controller doesn?t yet connect with the core gameplay of Castlevania. I definitely don?t want to make a game with gimmicky controls where you swing the controller like a whip, so I?ll have to think about it longer.?

UPDATE 11: The reason why Twilight Princess got a 9.5/10 was because of Wolf Link and Music. Although the gameplay was great, the issue was in the early goings when you?re forced to remain a wolf for extended periods and seek out creatures of darkness (meaning it can be a drag). The other issue was Music, and the tracks are too ?subtle? for their own good.

>>Pok? Dolls(2:20 AM)<<
Okay, this has nothing to do with gaming, but with Pok?mon stuff. I ordered 3 Pok? Dolls from Pokemon Center's online store. I ordered a Pikachu, a Mudkip, and a Ho-oh Pok? Doll. The total was $37.80, they charge $9.95 per plush and like almost $8 for shipping, then again, the company is in New York after all so they make big bucks. Anyways, here is what the 3 Pok? Dolls look like:

Here are the Pok? Doll's I already own:

The bad news, you are without Wii for 3-4 business days! At least Nintendo is willing to fix this issue for free from the start. Let?s hope that this isn?t a widespread error.

>>DS Download Stations at Airport in Atlanta(7:40 PM)<<
Just in time to entertain holiday travelers, Delta Air Lines is partnering with Nintendo to provide customers with access to free video game demos for the Nintendo DS portable gaming system. Today, on-the-go Nintendo lovers can begin downloading the interactive demos ? including Brain Age, Elite Beat Agents, Clubhouse Games ? in Delta terminals at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Through this new service, travelers can easily and wirelessly download Nintendo video game demos for free by bringing their Nintendo DS video game systems with them when they travel to or through Atlanta, standing within a few feet of the DS Download Station and following the simple download instructions. There are six units in the Atlanta airport on Concourses T, A and B. Delta also plans to provide this exciting enhancement in other airports in the coming months.

?Delta is excited to partner with Nintendo, makers of some of the most popular video games of all time, to provide yet another innovative entertainment offering to travelers,'? said Joan Vincenz, Delta?s managing director of Product Marketing. ?This program reflects our ongoing commitment to provide a distinctive, enjoyable travel experience ? both on the ground and in the air ? especially during the busy holiday travel season.'?

This airport technology addition is one of many changes Delta is making to improve the travel experience for customers. In September, Delta introduced the first of its new two-class, domestic transcontinental aircraft featuring all-leather seating in both first-class and coach. On these refurbished aircraft, every customer has a front row seat to great entertainment with Delta?s state-of-the-art, digital in-flight entertainment ? boasting movies, live television, music and games ? available on demand at every seat. The airline?s new standard in domestic transcontinental flying will be available to all passengers traveling on select Delta flights over four hours (or more than 1,750 miles), including those from Atlanta?s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and New York?s John F. Kennedy International Airport to cities including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Seattle and others, beginning this month.

Earlier this year, Delta also began updating its international BusinessElite class with a similar, industry-leading entertainment system on its current fleet of 75 aircraft flying international routes. And beginning in 2008, Delta will be the first U.S. airline to offer its international business class customers a true lie-flat seat in its BusinessElite(r) cabin on ultra long-haul flights to Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

>>Hudson addresses lack of TurboGrafx games on VC(7:42 PM)<<
Sorry all,

I just got word that the TurboGrafx games are still in queue to be launched. I should have a more clear answer on why this is case on Monday. I was playing a batch of the games in the office over the weekend on one of the dev kits, so the hold up may be an issue with the certification process.

Again, sorry for the delay. We?ll take a headbutt for the confusion.

In addition, it appears that the initial two games that will be available will be Bonk?s Adventure and Bomberman 93. The other games will be rolled out over the holiday season.

At this time, we do not have any information on future Nintendo Wii offers, but we will post updates on future availability in the customer discussions on the Nintendo Wii product page:

I don't think I will be renting games from them still, it just cost too much to rent games these days.

>>Nintendo ups DS Lite shipments(2:14 PM)<<
Nintendo simply cannot keep up with the demand for the DS in Japan. Even while trying to roll out the Wii, Nintendo is pledging to bring out more DS units to the public. The Big N announced that they are looking to bring out 1.5 million DS units in Japan in December alone, which would practically double what they have been able to achieve up until now. We shall see if Nintendo can handle these numbers, all while trying to promote the Wii.

All of the Wii anticipatory festivities will begin at 8 p.m. and the store will remain open past the midnight mark in order to accommodate shoppers. Also there will be a live performance by DJ Ravidrums and a countdown clock, ticking down the minutes until the console's imminent release. The Wii will be available across North America on Sunday, November 19 for a suggested retail price of $249.99.

>>Pok?mon Diamond/Pearl outsell New Super Mario Bros. in Japan(7:50 PM)<<
November 15, 2006 - The fastest selling DS game of all time in Japan was once New Super Mario Bros. And then, Pokemon Diamond & Pearl saw release. According to a recent update on one of our favorite retailer blogs, it took just 46 days for the highly anticipated DS (dual SKU) RPG to reach the 3,000,000 mark, beating out the previous record holder, Mario.

Pokemon is the third DS game to reach triple platinum status in Japan, joining Mario and Animal Crossing. In contrast, the PlayStation 2 has seen just one game reach the coveted sales mark.

But Pokemon isn't the only thing that's selling on the DS. Nintendo's Common Sense Training game recently passed the 400,000 mark. Kirby, which was just released last week, has already topped the 200,000 mark.

Nintendo plans on shipping 1.5 million DS Lite units in December alone to Japan, according to this retailer. That probably won't be enough.

13 November 2006 - Sonic Solutions? (NASDAQ: SNIC), the leader in digital media software, today announced that Nintendo, the worldwide innovator in the creation of interactive entertainment, has chosen Sonic? CinePlayer? CE DVD Navigator to bring high-quality DVD movie viewing to a future version of the company?s WiiTM gaming console. Nintendo plans to release this version of Wii in the latter half of 2007.

Based on the same technology trusted by Hollywood studios, CinePlayer CE DVD Navigator is a robust, software-based DVD playback engine that delivers broad playback compatibility on a variety of platforms. The proven technology offers exceptional picture quality and supports all standard video and audio formats offered in the DVD specification, as well as advanced functions such as anamorphic widescreen video, motion menus, and multiple video angles.

"To be involved in Nintendo?s ground-breaking gaming console is extremely gratifying and a testament to the efficiency, flexibility and dependability of Sonic?s technology," said Jim Taylor, senior vice president and general manager of Sonic?s Advanced Technology Group. "Game consoles represent a fresh market and platform where we can introduce a new audience of potentially millions to the quality of our brand and the power of our digital media applications."

According to a recent report by new media research firm Centris ( http://www.centris.com/index.htm ), DVD playback device penetration continues to grow. The total number of DVD playback-capable households in the US grew to 91 million in April 2006, which represents an 8% increase over the previous year. Adding to this figure was an increase in DVD-enabled game units which grew 11% year over year to approximately 45 million.

Created by Sonic?s Advanced Technology Group, CinePlayer CE DVD Navigator is part of the company?s growing portfolio of technologies that are being licensed to enable CD and DVD playback, as well as DVD recording and authoring. Sonic?s technologies are licensed by leading technology companies such as Adobe, Microsoft, and Scientific Atlanta and used to enable digital media experiences in a wide variety of markets including consumer electronics, PCs, kiosks, automotive entertainment systems, and music download services. In addition to standard-DVD, Sonic recently introduced comprehensive support for emerging high-definition formats, Blu-Ray Disc (BD) and HD DVD.

>>DVD capable Wii confirmed for US launch latter half of 07(10:14 PM)<<
Nintendo of America?s Public Relations Manager Matt Atwood said that a price has not yet been determined, but that the DVD-enabled Wii would come at a higher price than the standard Wii console ($249) because of the "extra cost required to implement DVD playback." -- I myself do not think the Wii needs a DVD Player built in, I actually think it's pretty pointless when the majority of America already has a DVD player.

>>Tingle on the Wii(2:05 PM)<<
Tingle is ready to take over every single piece of Nintendo hardware. After the would-be fairy's DS debut in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rose-Colored Rupee Land, which has sold over 170,000 units in Japan since its September release, word comes from Electronic Gaming Monthly that the little guy will be granted a Wii appearance as well, hot on the heels of his friend Link's sword-swinging adventure. Tingle's DS title focused on the collection of Rupees to advance the plot. No word on how the Wii game will be structured, or whether either game will be localized for American release.

The latest CoroCoro has been revealed with some further details about Pok?mon Battle Revolution, the first Pok?mon Wii game due out in Japan next month. The game is in fact like a Pok?mon Stadium game, making me correct for assuming such things. Finally, Battle Revolution features a Custom Character Mode. It's reminiscent of the Mii Channel on the Wii; this part of the game allows you to dress up a character anyway you want and use them in the game or over WiFi when you battle others around the world. >>Excite Truck Custom Soundtrack Confirmed(1:15 AM)<<
IGN is reporting that you can use your own music for Excite Truck. If you have the MP3 file on an SD card, you can choose it in the SD Card option through the game and it will play whichever song you choose for the races, or you can choose to have a randomized list even. GoNintendo said "We turned off the music because the in-game music is horrible." So hopefully we will see what we can listen to while playing the game and hopefully when you put your own custom music it doesn't sound horrible.

>>No Internet for Wii before Launch Day(1:19 AM)<<
IGN is reporting that the Wii channels that use the Internet service such as Wii Shop, Forecast, and News, and even the Internet channel will not work. This is due to Nintendo not having the system up and ready before launch day, so if any of you planned on getting a Wii before then, the bad news is you can't use anything Internet involved just yet. But that's okay, the launch is only 8 days away which isn't very long at all.

>>Excite Truck @ GoNintendo(1:21 AM)<<
Our friends over at GoNintendo have been very lucky to receive their very own Wii system free from Nintendo before the launch date. They also got a copy of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Excite Truck. Here is a video of them playing Excite Truck below:

>>Reviews(1:24 AM)<<

>>eZiText for Wii(2:15 AM)<<
Nintendo has announced to have closed a deal with ZiCorp, the company provides technology on Wii which provides the same feature as AutoComplete. Like suppose you write Nint..., this technology from ZiCorp will know you mean to write Nintendo. So, it's about a form of T9 which we already know from cellphones. The technology from Nintendo Wii will carry the name eZiText. ZiCorp has worked with Nintendo before. They were also responsible for the writing style recognition from Brain Age.

>>Rumble for VC Games not Supported(2:17 AM)<<
Rumble for Virtual Console games will not be supported. In this case, only the N64 games use rumble to begin with. It's not a total loss but it will upset some fans. I myself don't really like rumble too much, it startles me and makes me screw up in the game. But still, Nintendo could've kept Rumble for the games included.

>>Majesco announces Bust-A-Move Bash! for Wii(2:40 AM)<<
Majesco has today announce their first Wii title, Bust-A-Move Bash! Previously called Bust-A-Move Revolution, Bust-A-Move Bash! is scheduled to be released early on in 2007 and uses the Wiimote to bring Bust-A-Move franchise fans a completely new way to experience its puzzle-based game play.

Majesco?s VP of Marketing says that "The addictive bubble-bursting mayhem characteristic of the series reaches an entirely new level when designed especially for the innovative Wii Remote," and that "Add the ability to have 8 people playing simultaneously and the mania is practically unlimited ... not to mention exhilarating." Bust-A-Move Bash! features 10 different characters, including franchise favorites Bub and Bob as well as many new additions.

- Puzzle Mode -- offers 500 levels across five different puzzle areas;
- Endless Mode -- a challenging test of bubble-bursting skill and endurance;
- Vs. Mode -- allows up to 8 players to go head-to-head simultaneously;
- Shooting Mode -- an all-new mode where bubbles come at players from all angles. To handle the non-stop assault, players can use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk Controller together.
Bust-A-Move Bash! joins Cooking Mama: Cook Off as the first games from the company set for launch in 2007.

I myself believe that when the 9th Movie is released in the US, which stars Manaphy, there will be a Special Card included that has a password on it that we can enter to unlock the Manaphy Mission. If anyone discovers the password I will let yall know as soon as I hear the news.

>>Pok?mon Ranger(9:00 PM CST)<<
Well I finally managed to pick up a copy of Pok?mon Ranger today! Let me say this, this is one of the best Pok?mon spinoff games ever and I definately recommend it to all of you other Pok?mon fans. It's a real challenge and way more fun than repetitive Dungeons *coughMDcough*. I definately hope everyone gives this game a chance because it goes beyond the extra mile! By the way, this game was made by HAL Labratory, of Super Smash Bros. & Kirby fame. There is a thread up on MidnightPok?mon Forums where I chronicle my journey as a Pok?mon Ranger. You can check it out My Journey as a Ranger

>>Game Pro Expo Replaces E3(9:30 PM CST)<<
IDG will launch 30K attendee show in Los Angeles next year.

Since the E3 downsizing, the Electronic Software Association has taken extreme measures to completely make what we have known to be as the Electronic Entertainment Expo into more intimate environment. Now, The International Data Group (IDG), which produces tech magazines such as MAC world, has taken the stage to present the Game Pro Expo show to Los Angeles, CA., next year.

?IDG has been secured to run the new Game Pro Expo show, what we knew as E3,? according to a memo by ESA.

The memo also shows that the new show will be endorsed by the ESA ? which is ?a very important element to the partnership?. Game Pro Expo will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center on October 18, 19, and 20, 2007.
