In memory of my sweet, sweet, baby boy, Cowboy!  We lost him about a month ago!  We aren't sure what happen, but he went peaceably in his sleep!  I will meet you at the Rainbow Bridge my dear friend!  Just keep looking for me and some day we will be together!

Hello!  Let me introduce my self... My name is Carla Barkman and my kennel is called MidnightBlue Chihuahua's of Walkerton, Indiana.  I have been breeding Chihuahua's for 7 years now!  I love these little darlings!  They are all our pets first and spoiled for each of their new owners.  I have been told by many people, that my puppies are super spoiled and have to be D-Carla because they are just that spoiled.  I treat all of my dogs this way...no matter if their home is here or if they will be placed in a loving home!

When my new puppy owners leave my home with their new puppy, they leave with knowledge in how to care for their Chihuhua puppy!  They are informed of the medical problems that Chihuahuas could experience, such as low blood sugar or that Chihuahuas are known for having bad teeth.  

We give each person a goody bag filled with a can of Eagle Pack puppy food, zip lock back of Eagle Pack puppy dry food, much information on the Chihuahua breed, health record, a blanket especially for their puppy (which each person can pick out their own blanket for their puppy) and much more!

I love the Chihuahua breed, and I am always learning new things about them! 

When my new puppy owners leave here, they have a life time commitment with our Kennel, when it comes to their Chihuahua they purchased from us!  We tell our new Chihuahua owners that they can call us if they have a concern about their Chihuahua.  I am willing to help but most of the time the best bet is to get advice from your Vet because he has more knowledge than I do and can help your Chihuahua faster than I can over the phone.  So when in doubt, always call your Vet first because there are so many symptoms that your Chihuahua could be having and it could be a number of things and your Vet can pinpoint the problem, run tests, examine, etc.

From time to time, we sell our adults!  We don't always put them up for sale, so if you are interested in an adult, just ask and maybe they will be for sale!  It is really hard for us to place our adults because they have been with us for so long.  Therefore, my adults will have to go to very loving and understanding new parents!

We have been putting our puppies up for sale and have only been registering our puppies with CKC.  So we aren't registering our puppies with AKC very often and if you want AKC, you will need to be screened.  The puppy will be sold as close to the asking price as possible for AKC registered puppies.
