Some Randomness To Spice Up Conformity

I've made some updates to the site, subtle things like the date, and the Blog Archives page having a mini-preview.

Also, I finally placed things in the Blog Archives page like Anecdotes of Semester's Past and An Audience?: Revisited, feel free to take a look at them (Yes they are more blog-ish than tech-blog-ish). There will be more updates as time goes along, as well as a Windows 7/Microsoft Prospective Review coming up soon.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Everyone! I know I havent been updating the site that much, but this is partially due to the fact that during winter break, the sites traffic diminishes significantly. I have added another Recognition game to the unblocked bar, the owner of the site and I were very excited to see the boost in traffic. When break begins to conclude you will see a large influx of games into the site. Enjoy!

December 3rd, 2008:
New Games Added

Lots of new games added, both blocked and unblocked. More games will be added soon, as well as a new look & feel for the games! page.

Winter break is approaching, and therefore the site will be getting an upgrade very soon, with the upcoming introduction of midlorollin.co.uk and midlorollin.net, and with any luck midlorollin.com. I'll keep everyone updated as this progresses.

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY TO MIDLOROLLIN

Today commemorates the 5th Birthday of MidloRollin! 5 Years ago today, we had the same goal we had today, getting past that pesky security filter, and entertaining the masses. With the recent news of the success of MidloRollin, and loyal viewers across the world, I believe we have achieved this goal.

A simple idea evolved into something great, when the key phrase across in the internet will take you here, out of all places. I talk about this as well as other things in my recent blog post "An Audience? Revisted." Enjoy.

November 21th, 2008:
Murky Waters Ahead...

Those of you who are recent viewers, or even returning visitors that know me well, may already know that MidloRollin is living beyond it's means. Before this month is over, my bandwidth will have been exceeded and the site will temporarily be unavailable, but when it is back, something new is in store. Professional Hosting.

We will be making a change over to paid hosting, where MidloRollin's EGC can bask in a field of unlimited webspace and bandwidth. This will allow multitude of things, anywhere from video reviews and podcasts (which i've really be wanting to get around to) to tons of more games.

The transition will be rough, since the main flow of traffic is through google searches, that will end up yielding this site (i'll cook up an automatic refferer to fix that pesky problem) and taking away traffic from the new site. It will be a slow transition, and i guarantee the times my site is not bandwidth-forbidden, MidloRollin will have 99.9% uptime.

Who Says A Flash Game Can't Have Cool Background music?

I added a few more games to the site, some unblocked and some extra spicy. Amongst those are Age of War, Bomba, and Dots. I've also added a few puzzle games just that are my personal favorites.

Lots of Dead Link Clean-up, One Bad Ass Game Added

I've went through the games page, and removed all the dead links, I will be adding lots more in the future, soon as BESS is up and running on my Virtual Machine expect lots more unblocked games at your fingertips. Until then, i've been adding some games that i thoroughly enjoy from my personal run-ins. One of which is called "N".

       

N is made by the good people at metanet software, and due to its popularity as a flash game, editions have been released on XBLA, NDS, and PSP. Enjoy!

Re-Construction Underway

As the site goes under construction some pages may appear a little different than normal. I assure all of my audience this will not be for very long.

UPDATES:
- Name Change!: Yes, the plain name of "MidloRollin's Webpage" has been done away with. Since the new focus of this site will be a news feeder for anything from movies and music to video games and technology, as well as a large dose of new games for our viewers. NOTE: Since i no longer have BESS n2h2 at my disposal, i cannot assure that games going in the unblocked section will indeed be unblocked for everyone. However the games i put in the new "Spicy Favorites" section will most likely be blocked, but severely worth your time to try out.

- New Site Design! The site will soon look quite different that in its glory days.

- New Horizons! MidloRollin's EGC may soon be bilingual! A long time ago when the site had a dedicated audience, not only visitors from America we're coming in on a regular basis, but viewers from all around the world, especially Hungary, which i have yet to find the root of.

The site will also be looking forward to re-establishing a team. Towards the end of the site, the team that had once collaborated (bouncing ideas off each other while doing other things) had fallen apart, but now i'm welcome to anyone who wishes to be a part of something different. The Return: Web Design

After over a year, i have decided to start editing the site again.
So much has happened since i updated this site regularly, besides the epitome of spam the guestbook has become, blogging has become incredibly popular, despite my previous hate for it. Having a W3C certified site has taken a far backseat to taste, and i mean a very far backseat, like that of a mute child in the back of a GMC Express. Games & Media have taken a giant leap forward. Proxy filters have become much more popular, and thus made the unblocked games section that made this site once so famous of no use. However, so diehard fans out there inform me that this site is rather functional, and that with some housekeeping it can be the beauty it once was.

The tabbed and blog-styled agendas have become very popular, and i'll admit as a web designer and IT specialist alike, theyre very aesthetically appealing, so do not be surprised if the site has a new look and feel to it soon. I won't say much for now, but this site will have alot of new additions coming very soon.

August 16th, 2008:
New PC Build 2008

"The hard drive capacity had seen better days, and DVI port fried on my 5700LE I started looking into a new PC. It really pushed me over the edge when my single-core processor wasn't even considered the newest and most entertaining games."

It was time for a new PC. I detailed every part of "The New PC Build", right down to what drove me to use that very part. The Images below are quick links to their respective portions of the blog.
