About "The Midgentos"

Well I was bored one summer in 2001.
I was on holiday in my summer house in France...
Nothing to do, the local area are farmers (parents wanted a countryside feel when they bought the house..)
So I was writing a few short novels on World War 1 and 2. I loved that kind of genre.
That night I read "Lord of the Rings" - Fantastic book.
I started having dreams of myself as a warrior. But well.. Im kinda small, So I couldn't picture myself being a 5ft 4 (at the time) Human Hero.
Then came the fun.
That very next day I began thinking of names for the "race" I would belong to in my dream.. (Im wierd like that)
You would have thought that a name like 'Midgento' wouldn't take long to come up with.. But By Jove it did..

Midgento - is derived from Midget meaning a small human.

Midgento - in this context refers to a small group of tiny beings that live out their life away from harm. (Kinda reminds you of a Hobbit. But Oh NO! Never call a Midgento a Hobbit. My word they are grouchy. Hobbits are far smaller, and with a less constructive brain.) Unlike Hobbits, Midgentos are 'in touch' with the Elders, who pass down their wisdom to worthy races.
I thought it was perfect. so on that day in summer (Cannot remember the exact date.. Im cr*p with remembering..) I decided to copyright it.

I was so thrilled I began writing a short story. (My literary was a little less.. elegant back then. But being 11 it was still acceptable, even now.)

Time went by and I began playing Final Fantasy games, Warcraft 3 etc. One night in summer (again bored) of 2004, I sat down and wrote 6 A4 pages in one night before stopping for a drink. After that I lost my momentum so I gave it in for the night. Saved my Word Document and showed my mum the next day.

As exams came and went, and study getting harder, I found it more and more difficult to continue the story (Hence why its now 2007 and still not completed)
