Brandan Kearney 6'4 CG Detroit Southeastern- Commits To Michigan State University
WFHB 2011 Rank: 1 # Combo Guard, # 3 Prospect
League: Big Ten-High Major

Overview:
Now as for Kearney going green we were not shocked but some still are calling "BK" a PG which we don't see here on WFHB. Don't get me wrong he is very unselfish and has a high basketball IQ with great passing ability, but at his size at MSU he should be used more as a combo if not a two guard. Kern has a great jumpshot and handle to be at the point but Lucious and Appling will both be present when he gets their so If I were him my focus would be getting prepared to play on the wing. Appling is a great PG and will have the duties on lock. Kearney should be on the floor a lot at the Breslin if he continues to work hard. Im glad he is staying home and look foward to a great Junior year from him. Congrats and Good Luck..!!

Devin Oliver 6'6 WG Kalamazoo Central- Commits To University Dayton

WFHB 2010 Rank: # 8 Overall, # 1 Wing Guard
League: A-10
Overview:
Devin Oliver is a sharp shooting wing guard who should feel the spot of Chris Wright should he go pro after this year. "DO" is was the last piece to a fantastic 2010 class that BG and his staff put together. Devin makes sound decisions with the basketball and is a fierce competitor as well all saw him go head to head with 2010's Mr. Basketball frontrunner Keith Appling in last years Class A final. Oliver rebounds well and has solid handles but must sharpen them a little to be a key attribute to the UD program. They will have 2010 guards Jesse Berry and Juwuan Staten but It won'to hurt If he can handle it on the wing as well. I look foward to Devin doing big things at the next level because he has so much potential..Congrats UD Got a Steal!!!

Brandan Kearney 6'4 CG Detroit Southeastern
High School League: PSL
Class: 2011
Projection: High Major

After a sucessful sophomore season and and even better AAU season Kearney is all set to pull the trigger on November 3rd to relieve all the stress and discomfort to enjoy what is left of his high school career. Kearney is WFHB's Class of 2011 #3 Prospect overall and # 1 Combo Guard. Many have him as a PG but Kearney is more than likely going to play all three positions at the next level which is impressive.
Brandan has an unreal work ethic and is constantly trying to get better. The kid deserves everything he is getting right now. I remeber coaches use to tell me "naaaaw he is not that good" and this and that but the kid proved everyone wrong and look at him now. Now I'm not saying I know where "BK" is going to go but I smell some "Green" Mainly because Detroit Southeastern 6'9 PF Percy Gibson also has an offer from MSU and the two have been a tandeem since day one. Other schools like Michigan, Ohio State, Syracuse, Kentucky, Minnesota, and Florida International have a good shot as well.
U of M may have missed out with the commit of WFHB # 2 2011 Guard Prospect Carlton Brundidge. Then again OSU has almost a 2010 "Fab Five" coming in so time could be an issue their. Kentucky is looking at Brandon Knight and Marquis Teague who are quietly leaning toward KU so the decision is going to be tough, the program that gets Brandon will be thrilled and good for years to come.

Colin Voss East Grand Rapids- Comitted To The University of Central Michigan
WFHB 2010 Rank: #11 Overall, # 2 PF
League: MAC-MId Major
Overview:
Voss impressed me last year at the University Of Detroit Elite Camp and with his high school team versus Saginaw Arthur Hill. He is a powerful presence in the paint and finishes well around the basket. Voss has a solid mi-range jumper but needs a little improvement to be ready at the nextl level. He has good footwork as he was also a quality football recruit and is a beast on the boards. Highly overlooked in the deep 2010 class. Central Michigan is starting to make a believer out of me as they keep landing solid prospects. If they keep it up will Ziegler commit to his pops as well??Anyways Voss should be a solid roll player in the chips program and hopefully contribute to a future MAC title.

2010 Maurice Jones PG Saginaw Arthur Hill- Committed To University of Southern California

WFHB 2010 Rank : #2 PG- #4 Overall
League: Pac-10 High Major
Overview:
Maurice "Pookie" Jones was real patient with the recruitng process, as he had numerous offers from Mid-Major programs. He had narrowed his list down to St. Bonaventure and Duquense until Kevin O'neil and USC came in the picture. Maurice is a great penetrator and understands how to run a team and be a leader. The PAC-10 is known for having little guards so he now joins the bunch. Jones has a great chance of being a starter or at least playing significant minutes.
2010 Michael Talley Melvindale ABT 5'11 PG - Committed to Duquesne University

WFHB 2010 Rank: # 3 PG, # 7 Overall
League: A-10 Mid-Major
Overview:
Michael Talley is the son of 1989 Mr. Basketball winner and PSL legend, he debated and was also patient with the recruting process but felt comfortable with the Dukes progam. Providence and St. Bonaventure offered the scoring PG but he felt his services were needed more in Pitt. Now Talley also has a possibility of playing right away depending on how PG Eric Evans blossoms in the A-10. Honestly I think they're going to play the two together but we will see. Talley is a relentless scorer but he may need to adjust to playing a solid PG postition on the regular like we all know he can.
2011 Carlton Brundidge 6'1 PG Southfield High- Committed To The University Of Michigan

WFHB 2011 Rank: # 1 PG, # 2 Overall
League: Big Ten High Major
Overview:
Carlton jumped the gun sort of early as he is only going into his junior year of ball. He is very mature and the wolverine staff noticed that. Syracuse, Michigan State, Xavier, Georgia, and Iowa were all in the hunt for Brundidge but the he decided to stay home. Carlton is antoher relentless scorer as he played mainly the two and three in AAU and high school. Now his passing skills are great and so is his handle, the question will be is his mindset ready for the PG position. No doubt he is a leader and proven winner but adjusting from scoring is big ask Tajuan Porter. Brundidge has plenty of time and seems to have made a good choice. Depending on how coach B plays Darius Miller CB could play right away.
Wings Decide 101 Next........Stay Tuned

2010

Richuad Pack 6'3 2G Seaholm-
Overview:
Committed to Florida International (FIU) where he will join nationally ranked players Phil Taylor PG and Domonique Ferguson PF in the class of 2010. The most exciting thing is Issiah Thomas is the head coach and any player that has the chance to be coached by a lengend is really good or lucky....Congrats to the Pack Famliy!!
WFHB 2010 Rank: #17 Overall, #6 2G
League: Sun Belt Confrence Mid Major

Cole Darling 6'6 WF Holt
Overview:
Darling is a player who everyone thought should have earned an offer to U of M after a great Elite Camp. But maybe Michigan has diffrent plans. Anyways he recently committed to Wright State over Oakland and Northeastern. Darling can play the 2, 3, or 4 and is a very good shooter. Wright State got a still with this one...Congrats Cole!!!
WFHB 2010 Rank: # 10 Overall, # 3 WF
League: Horizon Mid Major
2011

Jordan Myrick 5'11 PG West Ottawa
Overview:
This was very surprising to me because Myrick pulled the trigger early after his stock was starting to rise. Myrick committed to Central Michigan as he is the only one in 2011. He is a good playmaker and has a decent shot. He isn't the quickest cat but his PG skills are very high like his IQ. Congrats to the Central Michigan Famliy.....!!!!
WFHB 2011 Rank: # 10 Overall, # 3 PG
League: MAC Mid-Major

After talking to Coach Issac Pitts WFHB has realizes that Pointer has came to Quality Education Academy In Winston-Salem, North Carolina. WOTS was Pointer was suppose to transfer to powerhouse Detroit Southeastern. But things changed after the departure of Mark white.
Dom"Ziggy" Pointer is a 6'5 WF has a 40" vertical and is a very tough slasher. He played at Roseville high with WFHB Top 20 Prospect Brandon Gouch where he had a great season. His AAU team Common Bond has a successful summer as he put on a show at the Hoop City Classic. Pointer is in good hands with Pitts as I hear Good Luck "Ziggy". Highlights Below.........

Trey Ziegler Ray McCallum Brandon Kearney Domonique Ferguson
With alot of people focusing in on 'The Famliy' 16u winning Nike Peach Jam we seem to forgot about how good the Team Detroit 17u has done this spring and summer. Team Detroit had great weekends at the "Pitsburgh Jam Fest", "Adiddas May Classic", and "Bob Gibons", which resulted in Elite 8 and Final 4 apperances while winning the NY2LA Tourney in Milwaukee and Reebook Summer Champions in Las Vegas. While Lee Bailey, Richuad Pack, Walter Pitchford, Corey Petros-Oakland Commit, and Percy Gibson played great roles in the teams sucess without the magic number 4 the mission would not have bee accomplished.
Ray McCallum was the finger to the glove in this program as he lead his team to victory on numerous accounts rather it was making the right dish shot or steal all summer. Trey "Do It all" Ziegler was unstoppable inside and out this summer, as he had a handful of monster games and played consistent ball fom state to state. Brandon Kearney didn't score lot but he plays great defense and is a secondary ball handler. He is a streaky shooter as we seen in Vegas and he plays hard all game.
Domonique "DOMO" Ferguson- Florida International commit was just a man amog boys while he suited up for Team Detroit. He got rebounds, blocks, amd finshed well around the basket every time he got the rock. Team Detroit has 3 certified All-Americans and 3 possible in Bailey, Kearney, and Gibson...If You don't believe me check their "HARDWARE"

This morning we got news that Anthony Fields 6'0 PG who last year attened Detroit Southeastern will be transfering to Quality Eduction Prep in Winston Salem, North Carolina coached by Issac Pitts. The shocking news is he will consider to reclassify to the class of 2011.
Fields had a solid Junior as his team only lost 4 games in a long season. Coach White named him the Most Improved player as he struggled after being hurt most of the regular season. Fields will enroll in the fall and is very excited about the move.
QEA plays some of the top programs across the country including Oak Hill, Mt Zion, Word Of God, St. Anthony's, St. Patricks, St. Benedict's and a long list of tourneys including one on ESPN. Fields has SMU, Marquette, Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, Dayton, Florida, and South Carolina on his trail but so much could change now.
This week he will be at the Super Showcase in Orlando, Florida wih the Detroit Fire as Elite camps to SMU and Marquette will round out his summer.
God Luck but so long to another great prospect due to the evil Prep School!

Well AAU is just about over as every program is making their last go around befor players commit or geting that scholorship they want. 3 tourneys are in Las Vegas by the name of Main Event, Reebook Summer Champions, and Super 64. This could be a great place to be if your destined to purse a good college look. The only down fall is there are so many gyms so all the coaches may be spread out or at one gym.
Orlando, Florida is also hosting tourneys which is consiting of the Super Showcase and AAU Nationals. This is overall to me a better event because of the distance of gyms and the one sports complex where every team has a chance of playing in.
Kansas City is hosting a Nike tourney by the name of Hoop City Classic which will contain most of the countries top Nike programs including The Famliy. WFHB has never been to this event so we can't tell you much but Nike never dissappoints so this could be a good one for exsposure.
Phoneix, Arizona is also hosting a tourney that most teams are attending after Las Vegas which is called Desert of The Duel. Plenty of Adidas teams are heading to this event including Atlanta Celtics, Team Detroit, SYF Players ect. This should be a good one to attend as many Top 100 prospects will be in the house.
The majority of Michigan teams are going to Florida or Las Vegas so well try to update you by talking to coaches and players on their performances and other news..We will be in LAS VEGAS!MI Teams Represent.
