Roy Marble Jr. a 6'5 Wing Guard from Southfield Lathrup High has exceled in the class room and exspecially on the court. Some questioned rather Marble could play Division 1 ball, but he never stopped working and early this morning he accepted a full ride to play at the University Of Iowa.
Roy Marble Sr. (Father) played high school ball at Flint Beecher and also attended Iowa where he holds scoring records and is a pure legend on campus as we speak. Marble had offers from Dayton, Providence, Detroit, Fairfield, and Buffalo. Michigan now has 3 2010 prospects who have verbal committed to a Big Ten School. From the WFHB staff congrats to Roy and his Famliy!!!!!!!

2010

6'5 Southfield Lathrup Wing Guard Roy Marble was offered by the University of Iowa during and unoffical visit which made that offer number 3 as he already has one from Buffalo and Providence. Roy Will be playing with The Famliy 17u in AAU Nationals in Orlando, Florida in July.

6'0 Detroit Southeastern PG Anthony Fields attended the Five Star camp in Hampton, Virginia as he was named to the Top 20 allstar game and named best defebder in the camp with 15 top 100 player in the class of 2010&2011. Fields has high intrest in SMU and South Carolina as WOTS is both have offered. He will be with the Detroit Fire in July and also received and invite to the RBK U All American camp.

The trio 6'0 Detroit Country Day PG Ray McCallum, 6'3 Detroit Pershing CG Keith Appling, and 6'5 Mount Pleasant WG Trey Ziegler all attended the NBA Top 100 camp and had reher solid peformances. Out the 3 Appling had the best showing as he was Top 5 in scoring. Trey played well as he did every aspects of the game from, Ray played his PG role as always. Trey and Ray will be with Team Detroit as Keith will be with Noem Oden's Michigan Mustangs in July.
6'4 SG Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard Josh Herbeck is on a rampage as he has high intrest from the University of Michigan, Dayton, and Butler. Josh is a very underrated scorer in the 2010 class. He is a Michigan fan an I could really see him playing in B's system. This past weekend he exceled at Dayton's Team Camp and my source Matt Schwade says the're really pursuing him. He wil be running with The Famliy 17u in AAU Nationals in Orlando, Florida in July.
2011

6'6 CG Detroit Southeastern Brandan Kearney was apart of the 16u USA Olympic trials in Mendoza, Argentna as they brought back a gold medalwinning all their games in a blowout effort. Kern was a significant reason why as he provied great defense and leadership. He hods offers from Michigan an Ohio State with Syracuse, Tennesee, Kentucky, and Memphis intrested. He will be with Team Detroit in July.
6'0 PG Ottawa Hils Jordan Myrick who is an upcoming 2011 guard took a recent visit up to Dayton University as he toured the campus an participated in open gym with the players. Jordan is a very solid PG as he knows the role and doesn't get caught up tin scoring. He wil be with GR Storm's 17u in July.

5'11 PG Flint Powers Catholic Patrick "PLP" Lucas Perry has rcently been offered by Michigan State and Michigan. PLP haad a showdown up in Lansing aganist Keith Apling as he scored 20 points and captured a win and that seaed the deal for Izzo. Belien offered PLP because of how well he has blossomed and how good he fits their system. PLP will be with Tim McCormicks AAU team in July as he almost has 10 Divison 1 offers.

Ray McCallum Sr. PG Detroit Country Day went off to France monday for the Adidas 2k All American function Ray also will attend the NBA Top 100 Camp in Virgina together. Then the Deron Williams Skills Academy in Dallas, Texas. Duke is starting to pick up the slack on Ray as he's making a push for the nations Top 2010 PG.
Trey Ziegler Sr CG Mount Pleasant has recently picked up an offer from the University of Minnesota. Trey planns on attending some elite camps this summer as well as visiting some of the top college programs in the nation including Michigan and Michigan State.
Roy Marble Sr SG Southfield Lathrup was on visiting the campus of Providence monday and tuesday and plans on visiting Iowa as well this mouth. He holds a lone offer from the University of Buffalo will he get two more?
Corey Petros Sr. PF Utica Eisenhower Corey has went about his business this spring as he collected a offer from the University of Minnesota recently due to his stellar play with Team Detroit. He was on the Campus of Michigan yesterday for a visit as Coach Belien and Jackson are impressed with him. He has a stack of MAC offers as Penn State, Northwestern, Dayton, and Iowa are pursuing him.
Kyle Vinales Sr. CG North Farmington Vinales was on the campus of Duquesne this past weekend as they're starting to pick up the heat on the OAA guard. Kyle lists Duquesne, Buffalo, Dayton, Central Michigan, Cleveland State, and Oakland.

2011 Updates & Coverage
Brandan Kearney Jr. CG Detroit Southeastern went through a fierce workout in Colorado for a spot on a 12 man roster for the 16u USA FIBA American squad. BK made the team as he will attend the Argentina for games June 17-21st. The first game is aganist Brazil as the team must place 3rd to qualify forthe 17u olympics next year.
Kearney and his fellow SE teammate Percy Gibson 6'8 Jr. has visited the campuses of Ohio State and Michigan recently. Illnois, Tennesee, Xavier, Michigan State, and Memphis are all chasing the 2011 duo.
Patrick Lucas Perry Jr. PG Flint Powers PLP has attended the University of Stanford Elite camp recently and plans on going to the NBA Top 100 camp. I'm not sure If he really is beacuse his name wasn't on the list but Tim M is his AAU coach. Patrick has picked up an array of intrest as S.Bell (Bankhoops) reports Wake Forest is intrested. Michigan is very high on his list as they need a PG in 2011.
Dwaun Anderson Jr. WG Suttons Bay Our staff got a call from one of his coaches telling us he was Top 10 in 2011?? Now we didn't take the conversation serious until they said look at his highlight film on Rivals. DA ripped WFHB #1 2010 prospect Trey Ziegler apart this past weekend with an array of jumpshots and dribble drive moves.
His handle is suspect but his athleticism, toughness, finishing ability and stroke isnt. With some polish he could be mentioned with Brundidge, Williams, and Lucas Perry in the likes of scoring. ONE TO REALLY WATCH D1 coaches this summer.
Carlton Brundidge Jr. CG Southfield High & Amir Williams Jr. C Detroit Country Day The Famliy duo is attending the Nike Hoop Jamboree which consits of the Top 120 underclassmen who reside on in the Nike world. Some of the Top "Players will be chosen to participate in the Lebron James Skills Academy.
Brundidge has Georgia, Michigan Michigan State, and Xavier intrested so far with Michigan and State being the leaders. Amir Williams has Ohio State, Michigan State, Michigan, Syracuse, and Kansas on his tail so their process should be intresting

With 5 Scholies avalible in the 2010 class along with combo guard commit Derek Jackson out of ohio Central Michigan's staff plans on landing around 4 MI 2010 prospects depending on how well they perform during the July Period. With the 2010 Top 20 Pre-Summer Rankings already completed the CMU famliy has shown love to all of them. Basically all the Top 20 prospects are targets. CMU has offered 7 of them scholorships while some are up for one this summer... Below is a list of the 7 prospects who have been offered and 3 who could eaisly earn a scholie depending on their summer performance. This has no connection to the Central Michigan Staff but is opionated by WFHB's.
Trey Ziegler 6'5 CG Mount Pleasant High Team Detroit
Competition: Central Michigan, UCLA, Michigan, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Arizona State, Notre Dame
Scoop: Trey is the son of Ernie Ziegler so due to the relation CMU could land Trey because what kid wouldn't wanna play for their dad? On the other hand Trey's stock has went up and it seems he is a certified High Major prospect. This could be a steal if CMU landed " Zieg" but more than likely if he stay home MSU or U of M will be the reason. CMU Offered
John Horford 6"9 PF Grand Ledge Michigan Mustangs
Competition: Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Florida, Dayton, Miami
Scoop: Horford has and offer from Miami and I think Michigan State as for major offers. Many scouts and reporters see him as High Major prospect and the way he's been playing I'm starting to think he is as well If he keeps working. If he plans on going mid major CMU would have to battle with Dayton which would be a better fight coompered to the others. CMU Offered
Maurice Jones 5"6 PG Saginaw Arthur Hill Reach legends
Competition: Fordam, Oregon, Central Michigan, Texas, UConn
Scoop: Little man has been on a rampage this spring! He has been tourching some of the Top college prospects for 40 and 30 points while still getting his 8 to 10 assits. Maurice has a bundle of mid- major offers mainly because he is 5'6. He plays 6'5 at times the way he gets in the lane and creates but what High Major university is gonna take a risk on a 5'6 guard? The funny thing is someone will if his stock continues to rise. I don't see why CMU couldn't win the mid-major battle but I see Maurice getting a High Major Offer this summer. CMU Offered
Matthew Kaminiecki 6'7 PF Clarkston High Michigan Mustangs
Competition: Oakland, Michigan, Detroit, Northwestern, Penn State, IPU, Central Michigan
Scoop: Matt is having a great AAU with the Michigan Mustangs and his stock is on the rise due to his successful high school season. The problem with Matt is his speed and skill level on the perimeter. He may be limited at the High Major level compared to being a star at the mid-major level. CMU could land Matt because as of now he could play their. If he gets 6'9 or 6'10. He would be a definate High Major because he's tough but as of now Mid Major....CMU Offered
Colin Voss 6'8 PF East Grand Rapids Grand Rapids Storm
Competition: Michigan State, Western Michigan, U of D, Michigan
Scoop: Colin Voss is a new name in the 2010 class but sure is making his way up to an elite prospect this time around. Colin has been playing well at local tourney and solid outta town. Voss has mid-major offers as many High Majors are not fimilar with him. This summer he could blow up and recieve a High major offer or settle for mid-major. Honestly CMU has a great chance in landing Voss if U of D doesn't snag him. CMU Offered
Corey Petros 6'10 PF Utica Eisenhower Team Detroit
Competition: Detroit, Bowling Green, Penn State, Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Dayton
Scoop: Petros is one big who really has improved through the years. Right now his stock is on the rise due to playing with Team Detroit which features McCallum and Ziegler. That gives High Majors a chance to check him out but on the other hand that helps U of D and CMU due to the son connection. I'm not sure if Corey wants to stay close or go High Major but Central Michigan would be a great place for him to get his shine on and potentially go pro. Think about It dominate in the MAC and be successful or play behind a Jared Sullinger or Josh Smith and be labled average...CMU Offered
Devon Long 6"7 PF Detroit Crockett L.A Stars
Competition: U of D, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Xavier
Scoop: In my opinion Devon is the next Derrick Nix in the Detroit area and in a article backin in the 2008-2009 high school season Nix agreed. Devon is a excelent defender and very strong down low. Long plays well with his back to the basket and has a nice touch. Long is a mid-major prospect due to his size and that could be a good thing for CMU. CMU Offered
Anthony Fields 6'0 PG Detroit Southeastern Detroit Fire
Competition: Marquette, Bowling Green, Arizona, Eastern Michigan, Oakland, Dayton, South Florida
Scoop: Fields is a pending prospect for a CMU scholie. Jones may be ahead of him and CMU should offer him if things with Jones don't workout. Jackson does need a running mate in the class. The thing is Mark White has done a great Job with making Fields into a pure PG and with his size High Majors are making plans to check him out this summer. His summer really will tell , so far he has 3 offers but CMU isn't one.
Lanier Brown WF Detroit Cass Tech Detroit Fire
Competition:Cleveland State, Central Michigan, Dayton, Detroit
Scoop: Brown has been playing almost perfect with the Detroit Fire program this spring. He really is the best prospect on the Fire next to Kyle Vinales and Fields. Lanier scores, rebounds, dribbles, and plays defense. His only down fall is his 3 point shot is shaky for his size it must be money. If he contines with a great summer he could recieve an offer but I'm not sure how intrested they're in him or he is in them.
Roy Marble 6'6 2G Southfield Lathrup The Famliy
Competition:Michigan, Oakland, ,Iowa, Central Michigan, Providence
Scoop: Marble really would be a great fit for the CMU program especially running with Derek Jackson. He is a great shooting guard and has great size to go along with his smooth stroke. Roy is starting to emerge into a High Major prospect as Providence and Iowa are planning to offer him in June. Honestly Cental Michigan should offer Marble because he could really get off their and help the program to a tourney bid he's getting that good.
** We plan on doing a Hot Board for U of D and Eastern Hopefully but are sources are limited towards thoes two programs so stay tuned!

MSU
Rumor Has It That Michigan State Will be striking again sooner than you think...If this kid verbals to MSU they will definately give Ohio State a run for the best 2010 recruting class.
Michal Talley Vs Issiah Sykes
According to T.J Kelley at Insideprepsports.net , The Famliy won the Silver bracket at the Bill Hensley Speice Tourney in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Congrats to the boys and coaches from WFHB! In the final 4 the Michigan Hurricanes met up with The Famliy as Talley and Sykes left the press satisfyed. Both scored over 20 points in the game but Talley Jr. go the win. Both are in WFHB Class of 2010 Top 10. Maurice Jones 5'6 PG Saginaw Arhtur Hill also displayed his talents and unbelieveable ability to run a team and score. He also had a good indiviual weekend.
Bowling Green Gets A Sleeper
Devon Hayes a 6'7 PF Junior out of Detroit Finney has made a pledge to play for BG and coach Louis Orr. Hayes is fierce rebounder and has a knack for blocking shots. He has solid post moves and finishes well. He had a breakout game against Detroit Southeastern as he racked up 14 points and 10 rebounds against some othe the Top Prospects in the Detroit area. Bowling Green is the 4th school in the MAC to add a 2010 recruit. Good Luck Devon and Congrats to the Bowling Green Famliy!!!

A highly skilled big by the name of Alex Guana out of Eaton Rapids High Verbaled to Tom Izzo and the Michigan State spartans today after school reportedly by Spartan Mag and Scout.com. Alex received and Offer by Izzo on Tuesday and wasted no time on making a pledge 2 days later.
Alex Guana is 6'9 and has a knack for scoring down low, rebounding, and blocking shots. In my scouting report a while back I noted how Guana reminded WFHB of Goran Suton and apparently that's one of the main reason Izzo Offered him. Alex now joins his fell Michigan Mustang AAU teammate Keith Appling as a Spartan. It's good the two of them are playing together now as things will be the same in 2010-2011. Congrats to the Gauna family and MSU for landing it's 3rd 2010 prospect!

My staff has done a great job on scouting the classes of 2009-2012 and finally our summer rankings have been finalized. Each class is done except for 2009. Were gonna do something special for them but that will take time. Plenty of prospects, parents, and coaches may be upset that their kid is not in the Top 10 or 20. We apologize some hard decisions were made the last few weeks. From Brandon Gouch to Tommie Bell and even deciding to put Carlton Brundidge over Kearney. We use a voting process sort of like the All-State voting procedure
WFHB plans on increasing the rankings to about about 50 prospects befor the summer is over. College coaches email me none stop about players who are not even in my Top 30 so don't worry. We put together a list of prospects who we plan on seeing who live in the western part of the state the names are below. Enjoy and if you have any questions I'm a email away. If you want my number WFHB only transfers that information via email....:
Top Players WFHB Need To See Again
*Matt Castello 6'8 PF Bay City Central Class of 2012
*Sean Sheldon 6'7 Traverse City St. Francis Class of 2012

With summer ball getting underway a handful of prospects are either in the weight room or the gym planning to get fit for another tough and rough season in AAU. College coaches are not allowed to come around until July so everyone has plenty of time to get their game right for the big circuit come July. The updates will be broken down by class . They will be posted daily as I talk with some Dads, AAU, and high school coaches so stay tuned....Rankings for the class of 2010 and 2011 are in the process of being updated but were gonna wait to finalize them after the King James tourney for coaches in July. 2012 rankings are coming soon...
2010 & 2011
Ray McCallum 6'1 PG Detroit (Mich) Country Day- Every AAU team claims to have the dominate point guard but honsetly he has chosen to travel with Team Detroit . Ray is more focused on improving his game during the offseason and playing in the tourneys that will be represented by NCAA coaches arent we all? I caught up with Ray and he noted that his recent list is Arizona, Kentucky, Michigan, U of D Mercy, Duke, Notre Dame, and UCLA. Next week college coaches will be in to watch his team compete in open gtm hopefully some more offers will be issued during that time. Ray is at the Pittsburgh Jam Fest this weekend for it's his first AAU tourney
Trey Ziegler 6'3 CG Mount Pleasant (Mich) Mount Pleasant- Trey had a solid season in high school but AAU is where he really excels. As for recruiting Ziegler is listing Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, Arizona State, LSU, Miami FL, Minnesota, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma. Ziegler is noting that he could play some point in college because coaches love to see him with the ball in his hands.
Devin oliver 6'5 WF Kalamazoo (Mich) Kalamazoo Central- Devin played in the class AAU title game and showed why many critics see him as a high major recruit. He is a great spot up shooter and a tough rebounder. Devin must get quicker and stronger to be a definate high major talnet but he is WFHB # 13th prospect in 2010. He's running with the Mustangs as hi list includes Michigan, Iowa, Stanford, Western Michigan, Providence, Butler, Michigan State, Dayton, Butler and Oakland.
Alex Gauna 6'8 PF Eaton Rapid (Mich) Eaton Rapids- Alex is looking foward to an stellar summer because of his injury during the high school season. I heard from plenty of guys that Alex was dunking over people left and right in last weekends Mustang tourney at Oakland university. He is becoming a dominate force in the paint as well as knocking down a consistent mid-range jumper. Gauna is claiming a list of Indiana, Xavier, Marquette, Notre Dame, LSU, Michigan State, and Michigan.
Maurice Jones 5'6 PG Saginaw (Mich) Saginaw Arhtur Hill- Little man had a 40 point performnace against Team Basketball in the ohio gators tourney two weeks ago. At 5'6 he is almost unguardable bcause their nothing he can't do on the court. He may be a defensive liability due to size but he plays great on ball and is surprisingly strong. Their are rumors that schools such as UConn, Memphis and Texas are intrested but MoJo should try and go to a High-Mid Major where he could dominate. Mid Majors suh as Fordam, Wisconsin Milwaukee-Green Bay, Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, and U of D Mercy have all offered.
Patrick Lucas Perry 5'11 PG Flint Powers Catholic- Little Perry put on a show aganist Chicago Express taking home the trophy as they won the championship. Perry got to the basket at will and made pull up jumpers over a much aller chicago team. Lucas Perry has Michigan, Michigan State, Bowling Green, U of D, Ohio University, South Florida, Oakland and more.
Brandon Kearney 6'5 CG Detroit Southeastern- Kearney has been my # 1 prospect for a long time and that's mainly on his potential and progress he has been making. Plenty see him as a PG but he is not in my eyes. Kearney must sharpen his game and become a relentless scorer to obtain high major staus like he is well on his way to doing. Their are plenty of little guys who will be PG's in college. At 6'5 if he can become more agresive on offense and become a board fanatic it can get ugly. This tourney he did well but 2011 guards like Ryan Boatright, Tracy Abrams, and Patrick Lucas Perry overshadowed him with scoring. He is saying Michigan, Michigan State, U of D, Syracuse, Wisconsin, and Kentucky are intrested.
Lee Bailey 5'11 PG Detroit Country Day- LB was the 2011surprise of the weekend as he tourched Reach Legends for 22 points an 10 assits. Bailey was knocking down jumpers and breaking down his defender at will all weekend in this one. Lee understands when to push the ball and when to slow up and set for his teammates. He could really be special with a little more polish.
Ryan Boatright 5'10 PG East Auroa Ilinois-The 2011 USC commit was great all weekened along with his Chicago Express squad. Ryan has lightening speed quickness and can shoot the dots off the ball. What really stood out was his handle and lock down defense. Ryan is at his best when scoring but he must break down the defense more to dish than score. If he isn't Top 50 in the 2011 class I must be missing alot.
Other notes........
- Kyle Vinales is listing Buffalo, Dayton, Oakland, and Duquesne
-Percy Gibson reportedly has an offer from Fordam with Michigan, Michigan State, Kentucky, and Central Michigan intrested
-Ernie Ziegler Was checking out the action as his son Try Ziegler plays for Team Detroit
- Anthony Fields is looking foward to a big summer with MAC Schools, Cleveland State, Okland, Dayotn, Arizona, Marquette, and South Florida all tracking his progress.
-Corey Petros is saying All MAC schools have offered as Michigan, Michigan State, Penn state, and Iowa are watching
- Michael Talley was recently stripped of his Class C tiltle but is working on his game to be back at the breslin next year as he and runs with The Famliy for AAU. Speedy (Durand) Walker says Providence, Notre Dame, Michigan, U Of D, Western Michigan, Iowa, and Eastern Michgan all are intrested.

Clarkston is home of some fine basketball players and 6'6 Senior PG Thomas Staton is one if not the best of the bunch. The wolves are 17-0 as Tom is averaging double digits and not to shabby in the assits and rebounding area. Staton is just starting to pick up college attention as University Detroit, Oakland, IPIU, Western Michigan, and Central Michigan all are intrested.
Tom played AAU with Norm Oden's Michigan Mustangs last summer but before that never was really on the circuit. Here at WFHB we plan on showcasing him as long as he preforms the way he has so far. Tom is a 6'6 PG who is a deadly spot up shooter and has a great mid-range game. His finishing level is high and boy is he long and wiery.
In his highlight film he shows the likes of Magic Johnson as he gets the board and finds others for baskets. Somebody better recruit this kid seriously or you will be sorry.......Check out the Film above!!
