Carroll and Baltimore County voters will be casting their votes for local and state representation this coming fall.  The upcoming elections will be crucial in determining the direction District 5 will take in the coming years.  Those elected to be the voice of the people will play vital roles in shaping public policy dealing with difficult and challenging issues facing the district such as education, taxes, growth, infrastructure, and adequate public facilities.  With matters of such importance on the horizon, Carroll and Baltimore County residents deserve a state senator who is open minded, responsive, fair, accessible, and most importantly, effective. After listening to the growing concerns of so many in our district, I have decided to become a candidate for the Maryland State Senate from District 5. 
            I am excited at the possibility of serving the residents of District 5 in Annapolis.  To be successful in this campaign, it will take a strong and dedicated grass roots organization. With hundreds of brochures, flyers, and yard signs to print, I will need substantial financial assistance.  I am asking you, my closest friends, for any help that you may be able to provide.  Whether it be a financial contribution, volunteering to walk door to door, or simply agreeing to put up a yard sign, I would be deeply appreciative.
