Michael Kendall is an engineering physicist and businessman and worked in the international defence industry before co-founding a high tech optical coatings company. He's written numerous articles on yachting, business and technology. Legacy of Dragons is his first novel and uses nuclear accidents and pollution of the oceans as the background theme to this powerful espionage story. But don't be put off. A fast moving drama of human relationships and sea adventure develops as the story unwinds.
Michael was a winner in the U.K. National Opal/PBO 2004 sea story writers' competition and runner up in 2003. He is also a Yachtmaster, using his sailing and technical experiences for some of the background writing in Legacy of Dragons. He sails his boat on the south coast of England and around the Channel Islands where part of the story takes place. He enjoys long distance walking and lives in Hampshire U.K.
Legacy of Dragons took two years to research and write.
He's currently working on a sequel to Legacy of Dragons that will retain some of the characters from that novel.
