Brief Plot:
Scott Howard is a teen who has always longed to be different from everybody else. He isn't very popular at school, he does have a best friend, Rupert Stilinski and a girlfriend Lisa Marconi, who he has known for a long time. He plays in a basketball team although he isn't very good at it. He also has a small part-time job which he does after school, working in his dad's diy shop. His mother is dead, the girl of his dreams completely ignores him (and her boyfriend hates scott with a passion) and the basketball team he plays for are absolute losers. He dreams of being special, of being something other than a complete nobody. When he first discovers that he is a wolf, he is understandably very bitter. He has become a freak of nature and that wont make anything better. But when his secret is accidently revealed at school, he discovers that being a wolf gives his special abilities. It makes him great at basketball, much smarter in class and a superb athlete. Scott now seems to have everything he wants..He is the most popular person at school, he has the girl of his dreams, and his basketball team are winning every game. He even gets to star in the school play alongside his new girl.
Unfortunately Scott soon discovers that life at the top isn't all rosy. The Basketball team now despise him cause he does all the work on the court, the girl of his dreams is only going out with him cause of his popularity. She doesn't care about him at all. The school principal wants to throw him out and the dream girl's boyfriend is proving to be a real handful.
Despite this, when the prom night comes around..Scott still insists on becoming the wolf to impress everyone. The whole event ends badly with scott being punched out and booed by the crowd when he attempts retaliation. Suddenly he has more enemies than he can handle and after that night, vows never to take on wolf form again.
Although this alone irates many people, Scott has made the choice to be himself whether anyone likes it or not. He makes the daring decision to play the championship basketball game in his normal form (against the crowds wishes) and their team wins. When everyone is cheering, Scotts former dream girl tries to make a pass at him but having already learnt from his past mistakes, he ignores her and goes to hug his father and new girlfriend and life goes on.
Quotes:
Scott Howard: Listen, Stiles. Do you know anything about a rash that's going around?
Stiles: Why, you looking to catch something?
Scott Howard: No, I'm serious.
Stiles: No... but I heard Mr. Murphy, you know, the shop teacher?
Scott Howard: Yeah?
Stiles: Got his dick caught in a vacuum cleaner. Scott Howard: Sergeant, burn the fields and when you're done with that, burn the house. Scott Howard: I was with Stiles this afternoon.
Harold Howard: I know.
Scott Howard: You saw?
Harold Howard: Yeah, I saw, unless that was another werewolf doing a headstand on top of Stiles' wolfmobile and making a fool of himself.

Goofs:
In the end credits there is a women with her pants unzipped and underwear exposed. She relizes this and quickly
zips up her pants.
Michael J. Fox is dancing on top of a bus as the Teen Wolf. The camera swings just a little too far toward the back of the bus and a police car that is escorting the camera car and bus is seen in the rear with its red lights going.
In the scene where Scott is putting his books in his locker and is talking to Boof, he closes his locker. Then in the next shot, his locker is opened.
In the scene at the party, Scott is in a large group of mixed people doing party games. He's waiting for his turn to come and he's got wet hair. Yet when he and Boof are going into the closet, his hair is dry.
At the beginning of the movie, Scott is talking to his basketball coach in his office. The next scene he is shown leaving school in completely different clothes.
When Stiles is "Urban Surfing" on Scott's van on the way to the party, they pass the same Jack In The Box Restaurant twice, and the same Denny's twice.
Trivia:
